摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating aluminum dross residual ash comprising such a process that water is added to residual ash followed by kneading, the kneaded product is charged into a firing oven where the kneaded product is rapidly exposed to a temperature higher than a specific level and this temperature is maintained from the beginning to ending of the firing treatment to suppress offensive odor due to ammonia and the like which may be generated due to impurities including aluminum nitride and rembve harmful impurities while preventing an explosion caused by ammonia and the like. SOLUTION: This method comprises the following practice: water is added to residual ash in the weight ratio: water/residual ash of pref. 0.25-1 followed by kneading; the resultant kneaded product is charged into a firing oven where the kneaded product is rapidly exposed to a temperature of as high as >=650 deg.C to effect rapid temperature rise, the resultant high-temperature condition of >=650 deg.C being maintained as it is from the beginning to ending of the firing operation; wherein the firing oven to be used is pref. such as to have a flame section near a kneaded product charge port and of such type that the kneaded product is charged under direct exposure to flame at the flame section, and the flame temperature at the flame section is pref. >=800 deg.C.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove harmful impurities at good efficiency from the viewpoints of resources and equipment and to obtain an industrially useful alumina compsn. by subjecting an Al dross residual ash after Al metal and Al alloys are recovered from an AN dross to hydrothermal treatment in the presence of calcium hydroxide. SOLUTION: The density of the Al dross residual ash in a slurry produced by suspending the ash in water is controlled to 50 to 250 g/l when the slurry is subjected to hydrothermal treatment. The amt. of calcium hydroxide added to the slurry is preferably 2 to 10 g/l. The treatment temp. is preferably controlled to 80 to 100 deg.C. During the hydrothermal treatment, ammonia and hydrogen are produced due to the decomposition of aluminum nitride and due to the reaction of the metal Al, respectively. Therefore, air is blown through the bottom of a hydrothermal treatment tank during the hydrothermal treatment so as to accompany the produced ammonia and hydrogen with the air, and then the air is recovered through the top of the treatment tank and subjected to waste gas treatment such as combustion.

The dissolving liq. and a waste liq. etchant are mixed, the mixture is hydrolyzed, and solid and liq. are separated to obtain an alkali regenerated liq. A part of the alkali regenerated liq. is used as the liq. etchant, and the remainder is used in dissolving sludge. Sodium hydroxide is effectively utilized in this way, and crystalline Al hydroxide is recovered.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain alumina gel scarcely containing harmful sulfate radical from a sludge formed by the neutralizing treatment of waste liquid by treating the sludge under high pH condition to get a gelatinous aluminum hydroxide. SOLUTION: An Al-containing alkaline and/or acidic waste water produced by the surface-treating process of an Al material composed of Al or an Al alloy is neutralized to pH5-9, the produced sludge of gelatinous aluminum hydroxide is coagulated and precipitated, the clear neutral supernatant is treated as drainage water and the concentrated liquid having high impurity content is subjected to a high pH treatment by adjusting the pH of the solution to >=9.0, preferably 9.4-11.0 by the addition of sodium hydroxide. The content of the residual sulfate radical in the sludge produced by the solid-liquid separation is remarkably reduced and becomes almost zero at pH9.4. The content of Na remaining after the water-washing treatment increases at pH11.0 or over. The separated solution is disposed as the drainage and the recovered cake-formed or extremely viscous sludge is repeatedly subjected to the similar operation.

摘要： PURPOSE: To provide an aluminum washing method which separates and removes impurities out of an aged washing liquid, recovers sodium hydroxide and aluminum components of valuable matter and allows the reutilizing of the recovered sodium hydroxide again as a tool washing liquid. CONSTITUTION: This washing method for tools for working aluminum materials comprises dissolving away the aluminum sticking to the tools for aluminum materials in a washing treatment vessel 1 by using a washing liquid consisting of a sodium hydroxide soln. having a high NaOH concn. The sodium hydroxide soln. of 150 to 250g/liter NaOH concn. is used as the washing liquid and the washing liquid is partly and continuously withdrawn as the aged washing liquid from the washing treatment vessel. A flocculating and settling agent is added to this soln. to settle and separate the impurities. The resulted supernatant liquid is introduced into a hydrolyzing vessel 5 where the liquid is hydrolyzed in the presence of crystalline aluminum hydroxide seeds. The suspension is partly withdrawn and is subjected to sepn. of solid from the liquid, by which the crystalline aluminum hydroxide is recovered. The resulted clean liquid is circulated as the regenerated washing liquid to the washing treatment vessel 1 after heating.

CONSTITUTION:(A) Anode oxidation processing condition: (1) bath composition - 0.1-10 percent by weight of caustic soda aqueous solution (2) current density - DC 1-10A/dm (3) bath temperature - 0-50 deg.C (4) processing time - 1 minute-1 hour, then, an anode oxidation thin film is set to 0.1-5mum, preferably 1-3mum is desirable. If it is less than 0.1mum, a problem on the point of strength remains. On the other hand if its thickness exceeds 5mum, the coat is easily broken by bending work, and its withstanding voltage is reduced after the bending work. (B) Cationic electrodeposition coating processing condition: any of cationic electrodeposition paint usually sold on the market is acceptable and either one of clear paint and paint containing pigment is also applicable.
