The respective sensors are arranged in integral multiple of an arrangement interval of the step board 10 on the same horizontal plane or along a movement direction of the step board 11, and the approaching detection part detects a step board passing time from the time series signal of logical product outputs of the respective sensors and determines it as presence of the approaching object when one or more sensors detect the approaching object in a detection time range set making the step board passing time as reference.
