    • An electrical driver circuit for a cantilever solenoid valve includes first and second electrical switching devices for converting logical control input signals into respective control outputs. Third and fourth electrical switching devices are controlled as a function of the control output produced by the first switching device. Fifth and sixth electrical switching devices are controlled as a function of the control output produced by the second switching device. A voltage potential difference is created between a first electrically common point, defined between the third and fourth switching devices, and a second electrically common point, defined between the fifth and sixth switching devices, as a function of the logical signals received into the first and second switching devices.

    • A system and a method for remote household appliance control based on a mobile communication network are provided. The system includes: a remote control access device and a remote control executor. The method includes: saving a first corresponding relationship between an infrared code type and identification information of a corresponding controlled household appliance and an operation act; and after receiving an unstructured supplementary service data (USSD) session request from a mobile terminal, sending a locally stored USSD menu to the mobile terminal and starting a USSD session with the mobile terminal; after receiving a USSD session content related to performing an operation act on a household appliance from the mobile terminal, transmitting an infrared control signal according to the corresponding infrared code type searched out according to the first corresponding relationship. The remote control of household appliance is realized conveniently by combining USSD and infrared remote control technologies.

    • A method of etching silicon-containing material is described and includes a SiConi™ etch having a greater or lesser flow ratio of hydrogen compared to fluorine than that found in the prior art. Modifying the flow rate ratios in this way has been found to reduce roughness of the post-etch surface and to reduce the difference in etch-rate between densely and sparsely patterned areas. Alternative means of reducing post-etch surface roughness include pulsing the flows of the precursors and/or the plasma power, maintaining a relatively high substrate temperature and performing the SiConi™ in multiple steps. Each of these approaches, either alone or in combination, serve to reduce the roughness of the etched surface by limiting solid residue grain size.
