摘要： A magnetic disk apparatus arranged in a housing having a plurality of magnetic disks stacked on a rotating shaft, arms supporting thereon magnetic heads and adapted to be inserted between said magnetic disks, a rotary actuator for moving the arms, a housing forming at least a part of an arcuate-shaped shroud which substantially surrounds a portion of side surfaces of the magnetic disks so as to permit movement of the arms and which is concentric with the magnetic disks so as to define a gap between the shroud and the portion of the side surfaces of said magnetic disks. 摘要： In the magnetic disk unit comprising suspensions in each of which an IC is mounted on a load beam, a magnetic head displacement caused by the warp of the load beam occurring due to heat generated from the IC is compensated, whereby the shortening of an access speed and high reliability of reading/writing are realized. The thermal displacement of the magnetic head is compensated by operating micro actuators on the load beam in accordance with the temperature rise of the IC which is measured by a temperature sensor. Namely, by driving the micro actuators so that the magnetic head may move in a direction reverse to the direction of the magnetic head movement caused by the thermal displacement, the thermal displacement of the magnetic head is made to be substantially zero.

摘要： The magnetic head assembly including a magnetic head having a terminal composed of a conductive film and a supporting spring. The supporting spring has interconnecting patterns (lines) on the top thereof and a projective electrode. The magnetic head is fixed to the supporting spring by using a non-electrical bonding agent. 摘要： A printer includes improved paper feeding mechanism. A manual paper guide plate below an automatic paper feeding device can guide a thick piece of paper into a printing position on the platen without bending it hard around the platen. A pin tractor below the manual paper guide plate can feed a continuous web substantially straight into the printing position. A print head below the platen prints out on the lower surface of printing paper, whereby the printed individual cut sheets of paper being piled up one after another with the printed surface facing downward in a proper page order. A paper tray for holding the printed paper can alternatively change its position to reverse the discharge direction of the printed continuous web. The printed and reversed paper can be stacked on the upper surface of the manual paper guide plate.
