摘要： Disclosed is a method for forming a ferrite film comprising, flowing downward or spraying an aqueous oxidizing agent solution on a substrate in a deoxidized atmosphere and simultaneously supplying an aqueous deoxidized solution containing at least ferrous ions, to effect a ferrite crystallization reaction on the substrate. This ferrite film is used for magnetic recording media, photomagnetic recording media, magnetic heads, etc.

摘要： A process for forming a ferrite film, which is characterized in that in an aqueous solution containing at least ferrous ions as metal ions, ferrous hydroxide ions FeOH.sup.+, or FeOH.sup.+ and other metal hydroxide ions, are uniformly adsorbed on the surface of a solid by an interfacial reaction at an interfacial boundary between the solid and the aqueous solution; and the adsorbed FeOH.sup.+ is oxidized to FeOH.sup.2+, whereupon FeOH.sup.2+ and metal hydroxide ions in the aqueous solution undergo a ferrite crystallization reaction to precipitate a ferrite layer on the surface of the solid.

A toner including a core particle containing a thermoplastic polymer material and superparamagnetic ferrite fine particles having a particle diameter of less than 100 nm which adhere to the surfaces of the core particle is manufactured by directly forming the superparamagnetic ferrite fine particles having a particle diameter of less than 100 nm on the surfaces of the core particle so that the superparamagnetic ferrite fine particles having a particle diameter of less than 100 nm are not in contact with each other. As a result, the toner is prevented from being scattered due to the influence of a magnetic field, so that a high quality image is formed.

摘要： Provided is a highly sensitive sensor system that can improve the S/N ratio by use of an electronic circuit without complicating the sensor body or degrading temporal resolution. A broad spectrum sensor element outputs an electric signal corresponding to a detected physical quantity, the sensor driven by multiplying a carrier signal by m-sequence code. The spread spectrum signal, after phase adjustment, is used to demodulate the sensor output signal, which corresponds to the broad spread spectrum of the physical quantity. The electrical noise generated in the sensor is a broad spread spectrum and is suppressed by low-pass filtering so as to improve the S/N ratio.

摘要： Nano-sized inorganic particles having uniform particle sizes and precisely controlled particle diameters have already been produced by synthesis in an organic solvent, but these nano-sized inorganic particles are hindered from dispersing in a polar solvent because of the adsorption of a long-chain fatty acid on the surfaces of the particles. Further, it was difficult to form nano-sized inorganic particles dispersible in a polar solvent by replacing the long-chain fatty acid coats. According to the invention, various surface-coated inorganic particles dispersible in polar solvents can be produced from fatty acid-coated inorganic particles by adding a temporary coating substance such as thiomalic acid to a nonpolar solvent containing fatty acid-coated inorganic particles dispersed therein to replace the fatty acid coats by the temporary coating substance, dispersing the inorganic particles coated with the temporary coating substance in a polar solvent, and then adding a coating substance dispersible in a polar solvent, e.g., citric acid to the obtained dispersion to replace the temporary coating substance coats covering the inorganic particles by the coating substance dispersible in a polar solvent.
