摘要： A compressor has a cam plate located in a crank chamber and mounted on a drive shaft and a piston coupled to the cam plate and located in a cylinder bore. The piston compresses gas supplied to the cylinder bore from a separate external circuit by way of a suction chamber and discharges the compressed gas to the external circuit by way of a discharge chamber. The cam plate is tiltable between a maximum inclined angle position and a minimum inclined angle position with respect to a plane perpendicular to an axis of the drive shaft according to a difference between the pressure in the crank chamber and the pressure in the cylinder bore. The piston moves by the stroke based on an inclination of the cam plate to control the displacement of the compressor. A valve is placed between the discharge chamber and the external circuit. The valve selectively connects and disconnects the discharge chamber with the external circuit based on a difference between the pressure acting on the upstream side of the valve and the pressure acting on the downstream side of the valve.

摘要： A sealing structure for the shaft of a compressor. The sealing apparatus includes an inner ring, and outer ring, and a support ring. The inner ring and the outer rings have flexible annular lips that contact the surface of the rotary shaft. The support ring supports the inner lip and determines the position of the inner lip. The first lip permits fluid leakage along the surface of the shaft, while the second lip forms a fluid-tight seal with the shaft. The support ring prevents the internal pressure of the compressor from pressing the first lip against the shaft with excessive force, which extends the life of the sealing apparatus.

摘要： A compressor housing and method of manufacture and assembly are disclosed. The compressor housing includes a cylinder block and a front housing. An annular projection is formed on the front end of the cylinder block. An annular groove is formed on the rear end of the front housing. The cylinder block and the front housing are secured to each other to prevent the front housing from being displaced in relation to the cylinder block by engaging the annular projection with the annular groove. A gasket is located between the front end of the cylinder block and the rear end of the front housing secured to each other to seal between the cylinder block and the front housing. This compressor and its method of manufacture reduce the amount of misalignment between a shaft bore in the cylinder block and a shaft bore in the front housing, which improves the performance of the compressor.

摘要： A electromagnetic control valve which is capable of controlling with small electromagnetic force is provided. In such electromagnetic control valve, a pressure-sensitivity control mechanism is provided in a space leading to the suction side of the compressor such that the pressure-sensitivity control mechanism faces to the crankcase pressure introducing opening of the valve main body. This pressure-sensitivity control mechanism is formed by a piston which comes into contact with the bottom surface of the valve rod. The differential pressure between the crankcase pressure and the suction pressure of the compressor is detected by the piston. Upon receipt of detection signals from a temperature sensor and a pressure sensor and an external signal, the pressure-sensitivity control mechanism adjusts the flow of refrigerant from the discharge side (high-pressure side) to the crankcase side of the compressor. Thus, the differential pressure can be controlled.

摘要： An improved displacement control valve incorporated in a variable displacement compressor. The control valve is installed in an accommodating hole formed in a rear housing of the compressor. A cap is attached to a housing body of the control valve. A pressure sensing chamber is defined between the cap and the housing body. A pressure sensing member, or bellows, is located in the pressure sensing chamber. The bellows moves a valve body in accordance with pressure introduced into the pressure sensing chamber. A tubular protector, which is made of an elastic material, is attached to the cap. The control valve is installed in the rear housing by inserting the valve, cap first, into the accommodating hole. During this installation, the protector prevents the cap from directly contacting the housing or inner wall of the accommodating hole. The cap is therefore not deformed. The performance of the control valve is therefore improved.

摘要： A variable displacement compressor includes a crank chamber for housing a cam plate, a suction chamber, and a discharge chamber. The apparatus includes a first passage connecting the crank chamber with the discharge chamber to discharge the pressure in the crank chamber to the suction chamber to change the suction pressure. A second passage connects the discharge chamber with the crank chamber to supply the pressure from the discharge chamber to the crank chamber increase the pressure in the crank chamber. A valve is disposed in the second passage to open or close the second passage. When the cam plate speed exceeds a certain predetermined amount, a solenoid is actuated to increase the size of the valve opening. As such, the load on the compressor during high speed rotation of the compressor drive shaft is reduced and the durability of the compressor is increased.

The first valve mechanism and the second valve mechanism operate independently. The first valve mechanism, the second valve mechanism and the solenoid mechanism are retained in a single housing.

摘要： A bacterium strain JM1 (FERM BP-5352) capable of degrading organic compounds without inducers is disclosed. Further, methods for degrading organic compounds and remedying an environment using the bacterium strain are also disclosed. The microorganism is brought into contact with the environment under conditions which stimulates the organism to degrade the organic compounds and thus, remedying the environment of pollutants. A kit and method for selectively detecting the strain expressing oxygenase from a sample containing strain J1 FERM BP-5102 is also disclosed. The latter strain expresses oxygenase when induced, however, strain JM1 FERM BP-5352 does not require induction. In addition, a process for obtaining strain JM1 FERM BP-5352 is also disclosed.

摘要： A housing has a crank chamber and a plurality of cylinder bores. The housing also has a discharge chamber and a suction chamber, which are communicatable with the cylinder bores. A drive shaft is supported in the housing, and pistons are accommodated in the respective cylinder bores. A swash plate is supported on the drive shaft in such a manner that its inclined angle can be altered, so that the undulation of the swash plate causes the pistons to reciprocate. When this compressor is running with the swash plate set upright, a controller activates an electromagnetic solenoid to supply a lubricating oil to a pressure chamber from an oil-supplying pump. This causes the spool to shift to temporarily hold the swash plate to an inclined position from the upright position.
