摘要： A switching system is disclosed in which a plurality of incoming highways are multiplexed in time division cells that have arrived are written into a buffer memory, the cells thus written are read in an appropriate order, separated in a multiplex way and distributed among a plurality of outgoing highways thereby to perform an exchange operation. An FIFO (First In First Out) buffer stores an empty address of the buffer memory. The address in busy state is controlled in a manner corresponding to the outgoing highways. When a cell is written in the buffer memory, the empty address is taken out of the data output of the FIFO buffer. When the cell is read of the buffer memory the address already read is returned to the data input of the FIFO buffer by an idle address chain.

The transmultiplexer has a section which converts data for each of a plurality of terminals on the time division multiplex line in the unit of a packet, for allocation on the packet multiplex line, and a section which identifies the time position of each data unit on the time division multiplex line, prepares a specific packet containing the position information and allocates the specific packet before the data packet on the packet multiplex line. The transmultiplexer also has a section which periodically allocates data on the packet multiplex line allotted with a specific packet containing position information of a terminal before a data packet corresponding to the terminal on the time division multiplex line in accordance with the position information of the terminal.

摘要： A personal computer connected to a USB port of a printer through a management table managing writing on an ordinary storage region in FLASH ROM recognizes the ordinary storage region in the FLASH ROM of the printer as a removable drive which is a USB mass storage class device. Accordingly, an execution file of an application program stored in a portion of the ordinary storage region in the FLASH ROM can be read with a usual access from the personal computer, enabling the application program to be executed without being installed. When the application program is executed on the personal computer, periodic accesses are made to the ordinary storage region of the printer, and when an access fails, the application program is terminated.

摘要： A hinge portion is formed on the base portion. An antenna portion is attached to the hinge portion so as to be pivotable thereabout. The hinge portion includes a hinge base having a first shaft formed on one end thereof, a second shaft formed on the other end thereof, and a first protrusion formed on an outer periphery of the second shaft, and a hinge bush rotatably mounted on the first shaft and engaged with the antenna portion.
