The random access preamble transmission method includes selecting, upon triggering of the random access procedure, one of random access preamble sets predefined between a User Equipment (UE) and an Evolved Node B (ENB) according to whether a radio channel condition is greater than a radio channel condition threshold and a size of a message that the UE will transmit after transmission of the random access preamble is greater than a minimum message size, randomly selecting a random access preamble from the selected random access preamble set, and transmitting the selected random access preamble to the ENB over a random access channel.

User equipment (UE) located in a handover area related to a cell supporting the E-DCH and a cell not supporting the E-DCH configures a radio bearer including the E-DCH and a radio bearer including an uplink dedicated channel (DCH) such that they are mapped to one uplink logical channel, and transmits uplink data through any one radio bearer selected by the UE or a serving radio network controller (SRNC). Thus, a delay time due to radio bearer reconfigurations and signaling overhead for the radio bearer reconfigurations are reduced.

摘要： A method of informing a selected CN operator from a UE to a RAN in an NS system where a plurality of CN operators shares the RAN is provided. Upon request of transmission of an IDT, the UE acquires a CN operator ID selected from a multi-ID list broadcasted from a cell in which an RRC connection has been established, and transmits an IDT message with the selected CN operator ID to the RAN. Upon receipt of the IDT message, the RAN determines whether the IDT message includes a selected CN operator ID. In the presence of the selected CN operator ID, the RAN stores the selected CN operator ID in a UE context. In the absence of the selected CN operator ID, the RAN reads a stored selected CN operator ID from the UE context. The RAN then selects a CN operator using the selected CN operator ID.

摘要： A method and apparatus are provided for receiving system information during inter-cell movement of a user equipment (UE) in a network sharing (NS) system. The UE moves from a previous cell to a new cell. After the movement, the UE compares a public land mobile network (PLMN) identity indicating a PLMN to which the previous cell belongs, with a PLMN identity indicating a PLMN to which the new cell belongs. If the PLMN identity of the new cell is equal to the PLMN identity of the previous cell, the UE sets system information blocks that it has received and stored in the previous cell, as system information of the new cell. If the PLMN identity of the new cell is not equal to the PLMN identity of the previous cell, the UE receives system information blocks with ‘Area scopes Cell and PLMN’ from the new cell, considering that the system information for the previous cell will be invalid in the new cell.

摘要： A user equipment (UE) is provide which reduces uplink signaling overhead in the process of reporting inter-frequency measurement results over a RACH. For measurement reporting, the UE receives an SIB including a cell information list for non-used frequency cells and a threshold from an RNC, compares signal strengths of signals received from the non-used frequency cells with the threshold, and acquires at least one inter-frequency cell ID indicating at least one non-used frequency cell having signal strength exceeding the threshold from the cell information list. The at least one inter-frequency cell ID is included in a RACH message as measurement result information for the at least one non-used frequency cell, and transmitted to the RNC. The RNC determines that the cell corresponding to the inter-frequency cell ID has signal strength exceeding the threshold.
