摘要： A transmitter encodes an input bitstream using space-time trellis coding (STTC). The encoder includes a serial to parallel convertor to produce a first and second output bitstreams. First and second three bit shift registers are connected to produce first and second output bitstreams. A multiplier applies a code generating weight to each bit of the shift registers to encode the bitstreams. A first switch is connected between a last bit of the first shift register and a first bit of the second shift register. A second switch is connected between the second output and the first bit of the second shift register. The first set of encoded bit streams and the second set of encoded bitstreams are combined and mapped to a frequency domain.

摘要： A sealing device and method are described herein that can be used to manufacture a hermetically sealed glass package. In one embodiment, the hermetically sealed glass package is suitable to protect thin film devices which are sensitive to the ambient environment (e.g., oxygen, moisture). Some examples of such glass packages are organic emitting light diode (OLED) displays, sensors, and other optical devices. The present invention is demonstrated using an OLED display as an example.

The imidazopyrazines, imidazopyrimidines, and imidazopyridines compounds provided herein are useful in the treatment of a number of CNS and periphereal disorders, particularly stress, anxiety, depression, cardiovascular disorders, and eating disorders. Methods of treatment of such disorders and well as packaged pharmaceutical compositions are also provided. Compounds provided are also useful as probes for the localization of CRF receptors and as standards in assays for CRF receptor binding. Methods of using the compounds in receptor localization studies are given.

The SAS optical fiber is useful in forming an evanescent optical fiber sensor (400), wherein the increased SAS enhances an evanescent wave portion (436) of a guided wave (434), which leads to increased sensitivity when measuring a property of a test medium (500).

摘要： The present invention provides a method and apparatus for the controlled synthesis of nanoparticles using a high temperature process. The reactor chamber includes a high temperature gas heated by means such as a plasma torch, and a reaction chamber. The homogenizer includes a region between the reactant inlets and the plasma (the spacer zone) to ensure that feeds from the reactant inlets are downstream of the recirculation zone induced by the high temperature gas. It also includes a region downstream of the reactant inlets that provides a nearly I dimensional (varying only in the axial direction) flow and concentration profile in the reaction zone to produce nanoparticles with narrow size distribution.
