    • A heater has a cylindrical metallic shell, a heater body partly disposed in a front end portion of the metallic shell, an electrode disposed in a rear portion of the metallic shell and electrically connected to the heater body, and a terminal adapted to be capped with an electric connector. The terminal includes a terminal body for power supply to the heater body through the electrode and an engaging portion formed on an outer circumferential surface of the terminal body so as to be engageable with the electric connector. The electrode and the terminal body are formed integrally with each other. Such a heater can maintain good electrical conduction from the terminal to the heater body with its simple structure throughout an extended period of time.

    • A photosensitive material processing apparatus according to the present invention includes a tank that has a body charged with a solution that processes the photosensitive material, the apparatus comprising a filter for purifying the processing solution, and a conduit for circulating the processing solution from a lower region of the tank body to an upper region of the tank body. Further, a pleated cartridge filter for use in a photosensitive material processing comprises a cylindrical pleated filter body formed by folding a filtering sheet member; and a blocking member, including a hole that communicates between an interior of the filter body and the outside, for blocking at least one end of the filter body, wherein a portion of the blocking member contacting the fitting portion is compressed when the blocking member is fitted to the fitting portion to closely contact the same.

    • A photographic film take-up device having: a holding device for holding a cartridge main body accommodating a spool having a trailing end engaging member in an interior thereof, the trailing end engaging member engaging a trailing end portion of an elongated photographic film, an interior portion of the cartridge main body being shielded from light; and a guiding member having an engaging portion which engages the longitudinal direction trailing end portion of the film, and engaging the engaging portion with the trailing end portion of the film, and guiding the engaging portion and the trailing end portion of the film to the spool via a film path provided in the cartridge main body, and engaging the trailing end portion of the film with the trailing end engaging member. The engaging portion is provided at a leading end portion of the guiding member in a direction of guiding the film to the spool, and engages an engagement hole provided in a central portion of the film at the longitudinal direction trailing end portion thereof. When the engagement portion is engaged with the engagement hole of the trailing end portion of the film, curling of the film such that a longitudinal direction central portion thereof is separated from the guide member can be deterred. Guiding and engagement can be effected smoothly and reliably.
