摘要： There is provided a three dimensional periodic structure comprising two substances having different dielectric constants with a high contrast between the dielectric constants or refractive indexes, periodically distributed in a three dimensional space. A unit cell substrate having air holes in a diamond structure is formed by a stereo lithography method which repeats the step of irradiating light onto a liquid surface of a light-hardening resin such as a photosensitive epoxy resin in each layer in a cross-sectional pattern to be formed. Then, a conductive film made of, for example, Cu is formed by an electroless plating method on the surface of the unit cell substrate. Thus, a three dimensional periodic structure comprising two substances having different dielectric constants, i.e., resin and air, periodically distributed in a three dimensional space, and comprising a conductive film formed at an interface between the two substances is obtained.

The electrode and the terminal body are formed integrally with each other. Such a heater can maintain good electrical conduction from the terminal to the heater body with its simple structure throughout an extended period of time.

As a result, the stability of a swing arm system can be enhanced and higher speed and higher accuracy of control become possible.

摘要： A splicer for joining, by hot-melt adhesive tape, a trailing end portion of a first photographic film and a leading end portion of another photographic film with a predetermined interval therebetween. The splicer includes a head which heats the hot-melt adhesive tape and a pad. The trailing end portion and the leading end portion and the hot-melt adhesive tape are nipped at a predetermined pressure between the pad and the head. A concave portion is formed in the pad so as to oppose a portion of the hot-melt adhesive tape which portion is positioned at a gap between the trailing end portion and the leading end portion. Accordingly, the predetermined pressure is not applied to the portion of the hot-melt adhesive tape at the gap, and the portion does not adhere to the pad.

When the engagement portion is engaged with the engagement hole of the trailing end portion of the film, curling of the film such that a longitudinal direction central portion thereof is separated from the guide member can be deterred. Guiding and engagement can be effected smoothly and reliably.
