A service providing computer for executing an information providing service with respect to apparatuses for acquiring information is interposed between a plurality of in information acquiring apparatuses and a plurality of information providing apparatuses. The service providing computer receives a content of a request of the information acquiring computer, and determines a sort of information to be provided with a user based upon a quality of this request content, individual information and past historical information of the user, and also various sorts of conditions when the request is received. The service providing computer requests at least one of these information providing computers to provide the information. The information obtained from the request result is integrated by the service providing computer to be transmitted to the information acquiring computer.

摘要： A program processing method in a distributed processing system including a shared transmission medium and a plurality of processors connected thereto in which a sequence of processing is executed by the processors in a distributed manner and programs for executing the sequence of processing are respectively stored in the processors. Each processor executed, when information necessary for an execution of a program stored therein is arranged, the program with the arranged information set as input information and then transmits information resultant from the execution to the shared transmission medium. When storing a new program described conforming to a predetermined program, the processor detects program codes respectively of input and output instruction parts of the program to rearranged the parts such that the program codes respectively of the input and output instruction parts are located at positions in the program respectively before and after other processing part. When information necessary for an execution of the program is prepared, the processor executes the input and output instruction parts respectively before and after the other processing.

摘要： A distributed processing method and system including a plurality of processors connected via a transmission path, in which a function is provided to an arbitrary processor to receive information and data passing through the transmission path and to obtain the received data based on information indicating input/output relationships between modules corresponding to the association of processing between the modules. When required, necessary portions of the obtained information and logging results are extracted, so that not only the time series data log but also the information or data log can be collected corresponding to the flow of a sequence of processing by establishing a display or print-out module. Furthermore, when data is received from an external device, the system generates a message having information indicating the order of the data and the content code representing content of the data and sends the message to the transmission path. A processor receives messages from the transmission path, and stores the data in accordance with each content code in an order which facilitates trouble shooting of the system.

摘要： A replicated data processing method and apparatus for a distributed processing system are provided in which a plurality of processors are connected to one another through a common transmission line. The processors perform processes using replicated data produced by resources such as files replicated in respective processors. Any processor issues an access request and broadcasts the request to the common transmission line. User's program of the processor is initiated by a first-received data in response to the request, and checks matching between the first-received data of the replicated data and the subsequently received data to repeat a retry processing for the request until a mismatch is removed.

摘要： A transmission control system for a transmission system including a plurality of transmission lines inclusive of closed loops has a plurality of network control processors (NCPs) and devices connected thereto, respectively. To this end, the transmission control system includes a plurality of transmission lines, a plurality of devices connected to the plurality of transmission lines, respectively, and interconnecting units for interconnecting the plurality of transmission lines through the devices. Each of the devices operates to send out onto the transmission line a message including data generated by the device and to which is added an identification code for identifying the data, and to store the identification code contained in a message upon reception thereof from the transmission line. Upon reception of a message from one of the connected transmission line, the interconnecting unit transmits to the other connected transmission line the message having the identification code which does not coincide with the identification code having been stored before reception of the message from the one connected transmission line.
