    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the increase of a gas spring constant over a long period of time by connecting a sub-tank of closed structure with gas previously filled being shut off from outside air, to apply pressure to a control circuit formed by connecting an accumulator operated as a gas spring, a cylinder, a hydraulic source, and the like. SOLUTION: At the time of applying pressure to a control circuit comprising a cylinder CY with the function of a shock absorber, an accumulator AC operated as a gas spring, a communicating residual pressure control valve BV, and the like, element equipments excluding a sub-tank ST and a cock KV connected thereto, and a hydraulic conduit HL connecting them are assembled to a body. A controller CNT is then driven to actuate a leveling valve LV and a hydraulic pump P, and air is extracted while feeding an operating fluid to the cylinder CY. The cock KV is connected to a hydraulic conduit connected to a main tank MT, and the cock KV is opened. Gas pressure in the sub-tank ST is therefore applied to the whole control circuit to put the circuit in a pressure applied state.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize the pre-load control hydraulic rotary actuator of a torsion bar type stabilizer and stabilize sealing property thereof. SOLUTION: A communicating oil passage mutually communicating with the hydraulic operating fluid chambers of respective groups are composed of ring shape oil passages 34, 35 made of a plug 30 inserted into a shaft 15 and oil holes 36, 37 drilled in the shaft and a rotary actuator 1 is miniaturized by making these communicating oil passages utilizing an existing through hole 29 in the shaft 15. Sealing property is stabilized by giving respective area difference to both side walls of the ring shape oil passages 34, 35 and catching the thrust force added to the plug 30 by oil pressure force with a housing 2, positioning the shaft 15 by pushing the shaft 15 against the housing by the reaction of the thrust force, and fitting a vane axially to the shaft 15 by a key in a relative replacement manner.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure good roadholding and handling by disposing in parallel a constant ratio type pressure reduction valve and a check valve communicating with one of variable stiffness force actuator of the stabilizers of the front and rear wheels and applying the pressure difference of the pressure reduction valve disposed between the supply and discharge passages of both stabilizers. SOLUTION: A constant ratio type pressure reduction valve 15a and a check valve 16 are disposed in parallel in supply and discharge passages 13a, 13b, respectively and the pressure difference of a pressure difference control valve 14 is directly transferred to the ports 10, 11 of the actuator of a front wheel side via supply and discharge passages 12a, 12b and it is transferred to the ports 10, 11 of the actuator of a rear wheel side via the supply and discharge passages 13a, 13b and the check valve 16, respectively. Accordingly, the pressure difference applied to the actuator of the rear wheel side is reduced in response to the ratio of pressure reduction of the pressure reduction valve 15a compared to the actuator of the front wheel side to which the pressure difference from the pressure difference control valve 14 is directly applied, to thereby keep the stiffness force applied to the rear wheel side smaller than that to the front wheel side.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a smooth and continuous speed damping force characteristic by throttling a pressure oil passage from a first oil passage being opened by a first valve, by means of a second valve that is deflected by the pressure oil at the time when the descending speed of the piston is increased. SOLUTION: When the descending speed of a piston rod 3 is increased and the pressure for pressedly opening a first valve 20 is increased, the oil pressure of the operating oil inside an oil chamber S1 is increased, and the oil pressure from a second oil passage 26 is applied even to a second valve 25 that has been held to the undersurface of a valve seat 18. At that time, the operating oil passing through a small gap W flows out from the upper side of the second valve 25 to the lower side thereof, and although the oil pressure acting on the second valve 25 is reduced, the second valve 25 receives the oil pressure, and the outer circumferential part thereof deflects downwards. As a result, the passage G between the outer circumferential undersurface of the second valve 25 and the inner circumferential upper surface of the first valve 20 is temporarily throttled, so that a regulated amount of operating oil corresponding to the descending speed is introduced into a reservoir chamber S3 through a bottom case 16 and an oil passage 16a.

A magnetic cylindrical plunger 4 urged rightward by a spring 8 is slidably fitted in the inner periphery of the tube 10, and a guide 4 in which a pin adapted to be seated on the valve seat 7 is press-fitted, is fitted in one end part of the plunger 4.

    • PURPOSE:To improve a vibration characteristic by providing an extention side and a pressure side check valves, a communicating cell and a reserver cell in a shock absorber and arranging a pair of a leaf valve and a poppet valve on a damping valve for both extension and pressure. CONSTITUTION:In an extension process, oil in a piston upper cell 3 is stopped by an extension side check valve 2, flows from a communicating hole 11 to a communicating cell 12, stopped by a pressure side check valve 6 in a pressure process and oil in a piston lower cell 5 opens the extension side check valve 2, flows to the piston upper cell 3 and excess oil flows from the communicating hole 11 to the communicating cell 12. The oil flown to the communicating cell 12 works on a primary and a secondary pressure cells 16, 22 of a damping valve 15 for both extension and pressure, and at the time when a poppet valve 24 closes, the oil of the primary pressure cell 16 opens a leaf valve 17 and returns to an oil sack 20. As cracking pressure of the leaf valve 17 gives initial deflection, high damping force is generated. At the time when the poppet 24 opens, a valve body 23 works until pressure of the primary and secondary pressure cells 16, 22 and spring force of the leaf valves 17, 30 are balanced, an initial deflection amount decreases, and low damping force can be obtained.
