摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a stable antimicrobial composition having strong antimicrobial force and reduced in amount of sterilizing metal used by forming an antimicrobial film of aluminosilicate containing a metal ion having sterilizing action on the surface of silica gel. CONSTITUTION:The aimed antimicrobial composition obtained by applying antimicrobial film of aluminosilicate containing a metal ion having sterilizing action to the surface of silica gel. The antimicrobial composition has preferably at least 0.3cm /g pore volume and at least 100m /g specific surface area. The metal ion having sterilizing action includes silver, copper, zinc, tin, lead, bismuth, cadmium or chromium and total amount of these metals ion exists preferably at amount of at least 0.003mm mol per 100m surface area of anhydrous antimicrobial composition. The antimicrobial polymer composition can be formed by blending the above-mentioned antimicrobial composition with a polymer. The antimicrobial composition is preferably blended at an amount of 0.01-20wt.% based on whole polymer composition.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an antimicrobial coating composition which has excellent resistance to weathering and shows an antimicrobial effect sustainable for a long time, by incorporating thereto a antimicrobial composition comprising two specific types of antimicrobial agents both of which contain at least one metal ion selected from among silver, copper and zinc ions. SOLUTION: An antimicrobial composition is prepared which comprises (A) a first antimicrobial agent comprising a porous silica gel having, on its surface, an aluminosilicate film containing at least one metal ion selected from among silver, copper and zinc ions, and (B) a second antimicrobial agent comprising, as a main component, crystalline silicon dioxide containing at least one metal ion selected from among silver, copper and zinc ions. This antimicrobial coating composition is obtained by dispersing and incorporating the antimicrobial composition into a coating composition. This resulting antimicrobial coating composition exhibits desirable antimicrobial and bactericidal activity and has an ability to kill bacteria almost completely, and also has excellent protective ability against mold. Further, since the antimicrobial composition has good dispersibility into a coating, a homogeneous antimicrobial coating composition can be produced with ease.
