    • A traceable treatment composition for treating a subterranean formation having multiple zones penetrated by a well bore comprising a homogenous blend of a tracking composition and a resin composition. The tracking composition comprises a substantially non-radioactive tracking material selected from the group consisting of a metal salt. The metal portion of the metal salt may be selected from the group consisting of gold, silver, lithium, molybdenum, and vanadium. The metal salt may also be selected from the group consisting of: barium bromide, barium iodide, beryllium fluoride, beryllium bromide, beryllium chloride, cadmium bromide, cadmium iodide, chromium bromide, chromium chloride, chromium iodide, cesium bromide, cesium chloride, sodium bromide, sodium iodide, sodium nitrate, sodium nitrite, potassium iodide, potassium nitrate, manganese bromide, zinc bromide, zinc iodide, sodium monofluoroacetate, sodium trifluoroacetate, sodium 3-fluoropropionate, potassium monofluoroacetate, potassium trifluoroacetate, and potassium 3-fluoropropionate.

    • Methods are provided that include a method of creating a stable slurry of coated particulates wherein the slurry is capable of being stored for at least 2 hours before use comprising the steps of: providing resin coated particulates wherein the resin comprises a resin that does not completely cure unless it is at least one of exposed to a temperature above about 175° F. or exposed to an external catalyst; and, substantially suspending the resin coated particulates in a servicing fluid to create a stable resin coated particulate slurry. Methods are provided that include a method of creating a stable slurry of coated particulates wherein the slurry is capable of being stored for at least 2 hours before use comprising the steps of: providing tackifier coated particulates; and, substantially suspending the tackifier coated particulates in a servicing fluid to create a tackifier coated particulate slurry.

    • The present invention involves methods of preparing coated particulates and using such coated particulates in subterranean applications such as production enhancement and sand control. One embodiment of the present invention provides a method of preparing coated particulates comprising the steps of coating particulates with a resin or a tackifying agent to create pre-coated particulates; and, covering the pre-coated particulates with a partitioning agent to create coated particulates. Another embodiment of the present invention provides a method of treating a subterranean formation comprising the steps of providing coated particulates made by a method comprising the steps of substantially coating particulates with a resin or a tackifying agent to create pre-coated particulates; and, substantially covering the pre-coated particulates with a partitioning agent to create coated particulates; substantially slurrying the coated particulates in a servicing fluid to create a coated particulate slurry; and, placing the coated particulate slurry into the subterranean formation.
