摘要： A golf ball comprising a core and a cover formed of a cover resin composition is characterized in that the core has a hardness corresponding to a compressive deflection amount of at least 3.5 mm when the load applied thereto is increased from an initial load of 10 kgf to a final load of 130 kgf, the cover resin composition has a melt flow rate of at least 3 as measured according to JIS K7210, and the cover has a gage of up to 1.7 mm. The golf ball has a soft feel, offers superior flight performance to even those golf players with a low head speed of 35 m/s or less, and is improved in durability to repeated impact and moldability.

The golf ball has excellent rebound characteristics and flight performance as well as a high productivity due to a reduced vulcanization time.

摘要： In a method for forming a silicon carbide film by means of a hot wall type CVD apparatus, which comprises placing a substrate S in a reaction tube 1, reducing the pressure in the reaction tube 1 with an exhaust pump 4 while heating the reaction tube 1 with a heater 2, and introducing a plurality of gases into the reaction tube 1 through at least one gas-introducing tube, the silicon carbide film is formed on the substrate S from at least an acetylene gas and a dichlorosilane gas as a plurality of the above gases by alternately repeating the following procedures (A) and (B),(A) introducing the acetylene gas for at least 2 seconds, and(B) introducing the dichlorosilane gas for 3 to 12 seconds. The present invention enables the production of a silicon carbide film excellent in uniformity of the film thickness and film properties and smoothness of the film surface.

The word processor has a function of replacing a particular symbol added with an editing symbol with a described character in automatic editing text. The capability of adding of the preferred edit data (edit symbol) to a series of particular symbols is done by arranging newly inputted data in positions of the particular symbols so that the desired edit can be performed. Where a number of newly inputted characters is smaller than that of the particular symbols, they are replaced with space codes or they are deleted. This prevents unnecessary symbols or spaces from remaining in a simplified format.

摘要： The invention provides a method of manufacturing golf balls having a core and least one cover layer which involves injecting a molten cover resin material around a core so as to form a cover layer. The cover resin material is a single resin composition made up of (A) a thermoplastic polyurethane, (B) a polyisocyanate compound and (C) a thermoplastic elastomer other than the thermoplastic polyurethane in a weight ratio (A):(B):(C)=100: {2-50}: {0-50}, and is injected with from 10 to 99% of the total number of isocyanate groups in component B remaining in an unreacted state within the cover resin material. The method of the invention provides a high manufacturability and a good amenability to mass production, and the manufactured gold balls thus obtained have a high rebound and excellent scuff resistance.

摘要： The invention provides a solid golf ball having a solid core and a cover layer that encases the core and has an outermost layer on an outside surface of which are formed a plurality of dimples. The solid core is formed of a rubber composition composed of 100 parts by weight of a base rubber that includes from 60 to 100 parts by weight of a polybutadiene rubber having a cis-1,4 bond content of at least 60% and synthesized using a rare-earth catalyst, from 0.1 to 5 parts by weight of an organosulfur compound, an unsaturated carboxylic acid or a metal salt thereof, an inorganic filler, and an antioxidant. The solid core has a deformation, when compressed under a final load of 130 kgf from an initial load of 10 kgf, of from 2.0 to 4.0 mm, and has a specific hardness distribution. The cover layer is formed by injection molding a single resin blend composed primarily of (A) a polyurethane material and (B) a polyisocyanate compound, which resin blend includes a polyisocyanate compound in at least some portion of which all the isocyanate groups on a molecule remain in an unreacted state. The cover layer has a thickness of from 0.5 to 2.5 mm and a Shore D hardness at the surface of from 50 to 70. The golf ball has a deformation, when compressed under a final load of 130 kgf from an initial load of 10 kgf, of from 2.0 to 3.8 mm. The solid golf ball is advantageous overall in competitive use.
