    • A two-wire communication system comprising a transmitting unit having constant current characteristics for controlling an output current thereof on the basis of a signal supplied from a sensor, a receiving unit for receiving a control signal to control the sensor, a load resistor and power supply connected in series with the transmitting unit via a two-wire transmission path, and a communication unit so connected in parallel to the load resistor as to convey the output current of the transmitting unit to the process side and control a current from the power supply transmitted onto the transmission path on the basis of information supplied from the process side. With this configuration, a communication system is provided which makes possible replacing process variable transmitters in a conventional analog control system or installing process variable transmitters in a new analog control system, which makes possible remotely setting and adjusting the transmitter function by the communication unit in the above described system, which makes it possible for the control computer to control as far as terminals, and which facilitates digitization of the system.

    • A dielectric filter module having an open housing which supports screws for adjusting the characteristics of the dielectric filter. The dielectric filter, which includes an elongated dielectric block having internal cavities and a conductive film extending from the exterior surface of the block into the internal cavities, is mounted in an openended metal housing which surrounds three sides of the dielectric filter. Suitable housings can be inexpensively fabricated to the necessary length from segments cut from commercially available channel members having C-shaped or I-shaped cross-sections. Wires extend through the open ends of the housing to connector elements on the surface of the block adjacent its ends. The connector elements can be adhesively secured metal members or locally deposited regions of metallic film. Either threaded holes on the housing or nut members mounted on the housing can be used for supporting the adjustment screws.

    • Disclosed in a binding tape dispensing and dealing mechanism for an apparatus for binding a bundle of paper sheets such as paper money with the binding tape, which mechanism comprises a ring-like or annular flyer provided with tape guide rollers for holding and guiding the binding tape therebetween. The annular flyer is adapted to be rotated about a bundle of the stacked papers disposed substantially at a center portion of the flyer ring, to thereby wind the binder tape about the paper bundle as the flyer ring is revolved about the center thereof. The tape dealing mechanism further includes a cutter for cutting the tape in a predetermined length, a pressing lever for pressing the cut end portion of the binder tape wound around the bundle of stacked papers against a lateral side of the paper stack, a spring and cam for controlling the operation of the cutter, and another spring and cam for controlling the movement of the pressing lever relative to the lateral side of the paper stack.

    • A damping material for mechanical parts includes a non-coupling interface that comes into contact without being metallically coupled. The damping material for mechanical parts is a gear damping material for forming a gear having damping characteristics, and has: a main body portion formed in a ring shape or in a disk shape; and a predetermined portion to form teeth shape provided at the outer periphery side face or at the inner periphery side face. The non-coupling interface is formed from at least one end face in an axial direction of the main body portion.
