摘要： PURPOSE:To attain closing motion of a lens cover by a hand gripping a camera by applying switch operation to attain the closing motion of the lens cover and the control of the operation of a VTR part of the camera altogether. CONSTITUTION:A driver for a motor 6 or the like and a remote control button 3 are used to slide the lens cover 2 and the remote control button 3 is arranged to a range reached by a finger of a right hand holding the camera during photographing. When a photographer desires to start the photographing and the closing motion button of the lens cover 2 is depressed at first, the lens cover covering the front face of the lens is opened, the power supply 17 of the camera is applied and the camera is brought into the video recording pause state. When the photographer desires to stop the photographing and the button is depressed once more, the power supply 17 of the camera is to the preceding direction and the lens cover 2 covers the front face of the lens. Thus, the lens cover closing motion button can be used for opening and closing states in common.

摘要： PURPOSE:To set a recording speed in reserved operation during a timer is reserved by providing a means which inputs recording tape speed information during the reserved operation of a timer circuit, and an output means which controls a tape speed during reserved operation. CONSTITUTION:When timer reserving operation is performed, reservation infor mation is inputted to a timer microcomputer 2 through a time setting input circuit 3, a channel setting circuit 4, and a speed setting input circuit 5. The information stored in the timer microcomputer 2 is sent to the recording and reproduction system 1 of VTR at reserved time and a motor control circuit 7 controls a motor part 9 according to the information to control the tape speed. Consequently, the VTR performs recording at the desired tape speed to attain the purpose. Tape speed setting input SWs 13, 14, and 15 correspond to, for example, a standard, a 1/2, and a 1/3 speed and a necessary tape speed is set during the reserving operation by using those input SWs 13-15. The timer microcomputer 2 sends out a control output during reserved operation.
