    • A method of preparing a transparency comprised of a substrate with two coating layers on the front side and two coating layers on the reverse side of the substrate; wherein said two front side coatings are comprised of a first layer in contact with the substrate, and a second toner receiving coating situated on top of the first coating and wherein the said two coatings in contact with the reverse side of the substrate are comprised of a third coating in contact with the substrate, and a fourth toner receiving coating layer on top of the third coating said method comprising (a) dissolving a coating solution of the first layer in a mixture of about two solvents where at least one solvent is a solvent for the coating layer and at least one other solvent is a gelling agent for the coating layer, (b) dissolving a second toner receiving composition in water, (c) coating the two solutions simultaneously, (d) drying, and (e) coating the third and fourth layers, and drying.

    • A transparency comprised of a supporting substrate, and thereover and thereunder two coatings, a first heat dissipating and fire resistant coating layer in contact with the substrate, and wherein said first coating is comprised of a binder with a melting point in the range of from about 100.degree. C. to about 275.degree. C. and a heat dissipating fire retardant component; and in contact with each of said first layers a second ink receiving coating layer thereover comprising a blend of a binder polymer, a cationic component capable of complexing with ink composition dyes, a lightfastness inducing agent, a filler, a biocide, and an ink spreading fluoro compound containing from 1 to about 25 fluorines and wherein said fluoro compound possesses a melting point of between about 50.degree.     • Disclosed is a method of creating simulated photographic-quality prints using non-photographic imaging, said method comprising:(a) providing a coated transparent substrate having a wrong reading toner image formed thereon using a non-photographic imaging process; (b) providing one surface of a backing substrate with a first coating comprising a polymeric adhesive binder having a glass transition temperature less than 55.degree. C., an antistatic agent, a lightfastness inducing agent and an optional filler; (c) providing said one surface of said backing substrate with a second coating in contact with said first coating wherein said second coating comprises a hydrophilic polymer having a melting point of greater than 50.degree. C.; and a paper desizing agent material having a melting point of less than 75.degree. C., (d) providing a coating on another surface of said protective member opposite said one surface which is luminescent, antistatic, scuff resistant, and lightfast; and (e) adhering said substrates to each other by the application of heat and pressure.
