CONSTITUTION:Plural drum-form conductors 6 with semicircular recessed grooves 6a at both sides are arranged in a cylindrical form, a conductor 5 is filled at the inner side of the drum-form conductors 6 arranged in a cylindrical form, while Nb-Ti alloy wires 7 are inserted between the drum-form conductors neighboring each other, and a surface reduction process is applied to the composite 9 installed in a conduit 8. As a result, an Nb-Ti alloy superconducting wire with the structure of an even filament formation maintaining its symmetry, including the copper ratio 3.0 or more, and the filament number less than a hundred, can be manufactured easily.

摘要： PURPOSE:To enable the fineness of multiconductor wire by means of the pipe method as well as prevent the lowering of residual resistance ratio by Cu-Ni alloying the outer layer of complex wire contained in a Cu pipe. CONSTITUTION:A complex wire 1 is coated with an oxygen free copper layer 3, Nb layer, and a Cu-Ni alloy 5 externally around a Sn rod 2 in consecutive order, and possesses the structure of hexagonal cross section. Such complex wire 1 is produced by the reduction in area processing. A number of the complex wire 1 are charged with their side attached densely to the inside of the oxygen free copper pipe distributed with shielding material inside. The composition thus obtained is provided with reduction in area processing so as to produce a rod as well as heat treatment, and thus, a multi-superconductive wire is produced. In this superconductive wire 6, numerous tubular Nb filaments 8 are distributed in a Cu-Ni alloy matrix 7, and on its inside, a Nb3 Sn layer 9 is circularly formed, oxygen free copper 11 is distributed outside the matrix 7 by means of the shielding material 10, and Cu-Nn alloy 12 is distributed in the layer 9.

CONSTITUTION:In producing Nb-Ti alloy superconductive wires, complex wires disposed with multiple Nb-Ti alloy element wires are cold worked, then heat treated for 1-3 hours at the temperature of 290 deg.C-310 deg.C, further cold worked in the reduction in area over 70 percent, heat treated for 12-72 hours at the temperature of 310 deg.C-350 deg.C, and lastly, cold worked in the reduction in area under 50 percent. Its critical current density is improved as well as its processability is facilitated by providing the Nb-Ti alloy superconductive wires with heat treatment and then cold working in two stages.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent the poor adhesion between a copper wire and a sintered layer of a superconductive ceramic material by means of the existence of copper oxide by adhering and then sintering minute powder comprising each composing element excluding copper of an oxide superconductive material comprising copper outside the copper wire coated with copper oxide. CONSTITUTION:Copper wires of a fixed major diameter are dipped in a processing drum containing film oxidative processing liquid, a copper oxide film layer is formed on its surface. This wire rod is passed through a powder coating furnace at the fixed linear velocity, and on its surface, the minute powder of Y-Ba-O film minutely powdered below the fixed grain diameter is coated in the fixed thickness by means of an electrostatic dipping method after being calcined. After the coating of the minute powder of Y-Ba-O, the wire rod is passed through the heating furnace heated to the fixed temperature and provided with a fixed heat treatment in the oxygen atmosphere after its periphery is bound with copper tape. A superconductive wire excellent in adhesion between the copper wire and the sintered layer as well as in stability of superconductive characteristic in the axis direction is thus formed.

A molding thus obtained is stored in a Cu-Ni alloy tube, and both ends are sealed to generate an extrusion billet. The two-stage hydrostatic pressure extrusion machining is applied to this billet to generate a rod. Then, it is formed into a wire by the swaging machining and into a tape by the rolling machining. This tape is heat-treated in the oxidizing atmosphere to form a Y-Ba-Cu-O superconductor. A specific stable ceramic superconductive wire can be thereby formed.

Pressure applied by the expansion of the wire rod 1 during the heat treatment is absorbed in the wound metallic wire 4, so the adhesion of the loops of the wire rod 1 to each other due to the pressure is prevented.
