摘要： A method and arrangement for providing information to a client (200) from a client access network (202) regarding a requested set of users (204), at least some of which are connected to other access networks (206). In response to a client subscription request, the client access network establishes a network subscription with the other access networks. Information updates regarding users in the set are then continuously received and stored in a database (214) of the client access network, whenever the users change their state. In response to a subsequent request for user information from the client, corresponding stored user information is retrieved from the database and sent in a notification to the client.

摘要： A method, a server and a client for enabling time limited modifications of XML nodes in XML documents, where a modified document can be restored to its original content upon expiry of an expire time, which has been specified for the modification, are provided. A request for a time limited modification of an XML node, including an expire time, is transmitted from a client to a server. At the server, a timer is either started, in case no timer is pending for the XML node, or re-set, in case a timer is already pending for the XML node. The present version of the XML node is stored, before it is modified, according to modification data provided in the request. Upon timer timeout the requested modification will no longer be valid, and therefore the XML node is restored to its stored version of the XML node.

The action rule comprises a trigger condition for performing the requested additional action. When an event publication is received(2:4) referring to the presentity, the event publication is checked(2:6) against the action rule to determine whether the trigger condition is fulfilled or not by the event publication. If so, the additional action is executed (2:7). Thereby, the additional action can be put into practice and controlled automatically within the framework of the ongoing notification service.
