CONSTITUTION:The feed of a photoconductor 1 is started is response to a record starting signal and information is written on the photoconductor 1 through exposure. Then a driving motor for a feed roller is turned on and the photoconductor 1 and the image pickup body 9 are passed through transfer rollers 52, 53 and images are transferred thereon while the photoconductor 1 and the image pickup body 9 are made to lie on upon the other. Each time an image is transferred, the photoconductor 1 and the image pickup body 9 are separated from each other and discharged 60, 61. The intrusion of a thermally diffusive material from the color material layer to the polymerized layer, etc., is then prevented by this intermediate layer at the time of a coating state of respective layers at the time of production of the medium consisting of, for example, nitrocellulose, etc., and a heating stage at the time of full-surface exposing. The generation of the adverse influence by the light absorption of the thermally diffusive material, such as desensitization of the polymerizable compd. and decrease in curing rate, is obviated.     • PURPOSE:To easily realize a large area, and also, to reduce the power consumption, and moreover, to obtain a display medium of abundant colors and its display method by forming plural image areas by at least two kinds of high polymer liquid crystals of different liquid crystal phase temperatures on a substrate provided with a heating layer. CONSTITUTION:By executing an electric conduction for two seconds by 30V voltage to a heating layer 5 through an electrode 6, a display medium is heated to 110 deg.C, and thereafter, by quenching it to a room temperature by using a fan 7, all high polymer liquid crystals are led to a transparent state. In this case, the display medium looks transparent. Also, by a thermocouple provided on the surface of a substrate, a temperature of the surface of the substrate can be known. Subsequently, by executing an electric conduction for one minute by 30V voltage to the heating layer 5 with respect to the display medium, it is heated to 110 deg.C, and thereafter, it is quenched by the fan 7 until it becomes 80 deg.C, and thereafter, by leaving it as it is until it becomes a room temperature, it is cooled slowly and only a high polymer liquid crystal can be set to a scattered state, and a white liquid crystal image can be recognized.

Then, the photosensitive layer 2 is irradiated with light in the absorption wavelength band of photopolymerization initiator incorporated in the polymerized layer 3 of the photosensitive body 1, and a polymerized image is formed according the absorption contrast image of the photosensitive layer 2; the photosensitive layer 2 is separated from the polymerized layer 3; the polymerized layer 3, on which the polymerized image is formed, and the image receiving sheet 14 are laminated together and heated, and thermal diffusion matter 10 incorporated in the polymerized layer 3 is transferred to the image receiving sheet 14 according to the polymerized image. A multicolor picture is formed by successively carrying out transfers for the photosensitive body 1 of different tone. Thus, the resolution can be improved.

CONSTITUTION:Ink 2 of recording material is formed in a uniform thickness on an ink carrying roll 1 by a coating roll 9, ink 11 kneaded by kneading means 20 is supplied to the roll 9, and guided to an ink reservoir 10 upon rotation in a direction of an arrow E. A plate 4 wound on a plate roll 3 is brought into contact with the ink 2 on the roll 1, and the roll 3 is rotated reversely to the roll 1. A desired pattern 4b made of an insulating material is provided on a base material 4a made of a conductive material on the plate 4. A voltage is applied from a power source 103 between the plate 4 and the roll 1 to change the adhesive properties of the ink 2 in contact with the conductive part of the plate 4 to adhere the ink 2 on the pattern due to the difference of the adhesive properties, thereby forming an ink image. Thus, a large quantity printing can be stably performed for a long period.
