摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suitably avoid excessive lowering of the temperature of a cooling medium when electrically controlling the amount of circulation of a cooling medium with an electrically heatable thermostat valve. SOLUTION: Cooling water circulated in an engine 2 flows into a cooling passage 10 and by-pass passages 20, 22. The cooling passage 10 is provided with a radiator 12 which cools the cooling water. The cooling passage 10 and the by-pass passages 20, 22 are connected with an electronic thermostat 30, and the cooling water flowing out from the electronic thermostat 30 is supplied to the engine 2 through an inlet passage 40. The electronic thermostat 30 controls the flow rates of the cooling water flowing into the inlet passage 40 through the cooling passage 10 and the cooling water flowing into the inlet passage 40 through the by-pass passages 20, 22. Based on an engine water temperature THW1 and a radiator water temperature THW2, electricity is stopped when the electronic thermostat 30 is supplied with electricity. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve responsiveness of a cooling water temperature control to be performed to regulate the temperature of cooling water circulating in an engine to a target temperature. SOLUTION: This engine cooling device is provided with a flow regulating valve 8 for regulating flow rate of cooling water passing through a radiator 7 provided in a cooling water circulating path of the engine 1 and an electronic control unit (ECU) 30 for controlling the opening of the flow regulating valve 8 so that an engine outlet water temperature may be a required target temperature. The ECU 30 sets a basic opening as a feedfoward term based on an operation state of the engine 1. The ECU 30 calculates a final opening from an F/B constant as a feedback term increased/decreased so that the engine outlet water temperature may be the target temperature and the basic opening. 摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent overheat of an engine by maximizing a flow rate of a radiator at the time of breakage and failures of a step motor, in a flow control valve for integrally driving a first valve element controlling the flow rate of the radiator and a second valve element controlling the flow rate of a bypass with a step motor. SOLUTION: This flow control valve 1 is used for a water-cooled engine cooling device, and comprises a first valve element 31 and a first valve seat 35 for controlling the flow rate of the radiator returned from the radiator to a pump, a second valve element 32 and a second valve seat 36 for controlling the flow rate of a bypass returned to the pump not via the radiator, and a step motor 24 for integrally driving both of the valve elements 31 and 32. A spring 46 is installed for energizing the first valve element 31 with predetermined energizing force. When a torque of the step motor 24 is decreased, both of the valve elements 31 and 32 are integrally driven by combination of spring energizing force and a motor thrust. The first valve seat 35 can be opened by the first valve element 31, and the second valve seat 36 can be opened by the second valve element 32.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving force control device for a vehicle improving efficiency on the whole to improve fuel consumption by suppressing fuel consumption by inertial torque in controlling a change gear ratio by a continuously variable transmission. SOLUTION: A change gear ratio is controlled according to a shift line (a continuous line) set onto the low rotating speed side in a practical region rather than an optimum fuel consumption line (a dashed line) obtained on the basis of the efficiency of an engine and the continuously variable transmission. Consequently the rise amount of rotating speed from the start of the practical region is suppressed. Fuel consumption by the inertial torque portion following the rotational fluctuation of the engine, that is, the rotational fluctuation of the input shaft of a hydraulic power transmission mechanism and the continuously variable transmission is therefore suppressed to improve efficiency on the whole in comparison with the case of the optimum fuel consumption line and thereby to improve fuel consumption.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conduct control to enhance a fuel consumption of an engine using a continuously variable transmission, and to properly maintain idling. SOLUTION: In this controller, a target output of a power source for attaining target driving force is found based on the target driving force, the number of target output revolutions is found based on the target output, a gear ratio of the continuously variable transmission is controlled to bring the number of output revolutions of the power source into the target output revolution number, target output torque of the power source is found to attain the target driving force based on the target driving force, and a load of the power source is controlled based on the target output torque. The controller of the present invention is provided also with a correction means (block B7) for correcting a controlled variable for controlling the load of the power source to bring the output torque of the power source into a value provided by adding an output torque for maintaining the idling of the power source to the target output torque.
