A width of a line pressure supply port and a width of a P and N range port is smaller than a diameter of the valve land, and a flow amount is discharged on by oil leakage. A width of another port excepting the line pressure supply port and the P and N range port is larger than the diameter of the valve land. The flow amount is directly discharged through the discharge holes. At the time of the P and N range, line pressure is formed, and eccentric force generated in the valve spool is removed.

Variable control pressure is controlled by a solenoid valve(27), and line pressure is operated in driving the oil pump. Line pressure is regulated stably, and expenses are reduced with simple structure.

    • PURPOSE: A fail safe hydraulic system of an automatic transmission is provided to realize a safe travel by preventing the occurrence of interlock in a power train regardless of the sticking position of a valve spool. CONSTITUTION: A second clutch(C2) and a first brake(B1) are supplied with the output pressure of a C2/B1 control valve(52) controlled by a C2/B1 control solenoid valve(50). The output pressure of the C2/B1 control valve is switched to two paths by a C2/B1 switch valve(54). One of the paths is communicated with the second clutch via a first fail safe valve(56) while the other path is communicated with the first brake via a second fail safe valve(58). The hydraulic pressure supplied to the second clutch is discharged via the C2/B1 switch valve and the fist fail safe valve. The hydraulic pressure supplied to the first brake is discharged via the C2/B1 control valve and the second fail safe valve. The output pressure of a C1 control valve(62) is applied to a first clutch via two paths. One of the paths is communicated with a first clutch(C1). The other path operates as a control pressure to second and third fails safe valves(58,64) and supplies hydraulic pressure to a first friction element via a first shuttle valve. Then, first and second brake pressures are released. The first brake pressure generated in the C2/B1 switch valve is supplied only when the second fail safe valve is switched over.

    • PURPOSE: A hydraulic pressure controlling system increases a speed change sense by decreasing the pulsation of a hydraulic pressure provided to the first brake, even if an another accumulator is not installed. CONSTITUTION: An accumulator switch valve(30) is disposed between the second fail safe valve(28) and the second brake(B2) to use the accumulator for the second brake(B2) operating in a forward 2,4 grade among the friction factor as the accumulator for the first brake(B1) operating in a forward 1 grade and a backward speed change grade. The accumulator valve(30) is connected so that a hydraulic pressure provided to the first brake(B1) is provided to a second fail safe valve(28). Therefore, the accumulator used for the second brake(B2) is used for the first brake(B1) also. Thus, the hydraulic pressure controlling system increases a speed change sense by decreasing the pulsation of a hydraulic pressure provided to the first brake(B1), even if an another accumulator is not installed.
