    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a structure for reinforcing an existing column such that a construction period is reduced by facilitating the contents of work, the driving of anchor reinforcements is eliminated or minimized, and construction is performed while using a building.
      SOLUTION: This reinforcement structure in which a side wall is constructed on both sides of an existing column comprises a steel plate installed on one surface of the existing column and extending to both sides thereof; and side wall bodies formed integrally with the steel plate through the existing column on both sides of the existing column. The reinforcement structure in which a side wall is additionally formed on the surface perpendicular to the wall on both sides of the existing column on which the wall is additionally formed comprises: two sheets of left and right steel plates installed on the surfaces of the existing column on which the wall is constructed through the wall and extending to both sides of the existing column; and a side wall body formed integrally with the steel plates through the existing column on both sides of the existing column.
