摘要： A sheet reversing controller has a first conveying path for conveying sheets in the first direction, sensors to detect lengths of sheets in the conveying direction; a reversing portion comprising a reversing roller that is capable of normal/reverse rotations for taking and reversing sheets supplied from the first conveying path and a pinch roller, and a second conveying path for taking and conveying sheets supplied in the second direction that is the reverse direction to the conveying direction of the first conveying path from the reversing portion, and a controller to control the conveyance of sheets. The controller controls a conveying gap between a sheet and a succeeding sheet on the second conveying path regardless of the length of the sheets in the conveying direction.

摘要： An overlapped-sheet detection apparatus can detect whether sheets are overlapped and shift the same, if overlapped, for further processing. The overlapped-sheet detection apparatus is provided with conveying belts, forwarding and shifting rollers, motor and discriminator. Conveying belts hold and convey sheets on a conveying path. Forwarding roller is provided at the conveying path to forward sheets 1 in a conveying direction and forward sheets in conveying direction. Shifting roller is provided opposite to forwarding roller to shift sheets back to a direction which is the reverse of conveying direction if the sheets are overlapped. Motor supplies shifting roller with driving torque to shift sheets back to the direction reversed to conveying direction. An encoder is built in motor to detect a rotation state of shifting roller. Discriminator judges from an output of the encoder whether sheets are overlapped. When sheets are overlapped, forwarding roller makes contact with upper sheet and sends the same in conveying direction but shifting roller shifts lower sheet in a direction reversed to conveying direction.

摘要： In one embodiment, a supply mechanism is provided. The supply mechanism supplies accumulated paper sheets to a takeout position sequentially. A takeout belt having adsorption hole runs along a surface of the takeout position. An opening of a negative pressure chamber is arranged so as to face the takeout belt. A suction unit sucks air existing at the takeout position via the opening and the adsorption holes. The suction unit causes a negative pressure to act on each of the paper sheets so that each is adsorbed onto an adsorption surface of the takeout belt. The suction unit has an air supply port to supply air into the negative pressure chamber. The air supply port is arranged so that the air supplied via the air supply port is directed to a position and in a direction different from those of the opening.

The neutralization apparatus neutralizes an ink ribbon. The neutralization apparatus has a conductive roller which is arranged so as to contact the surface of the ink ribbon and a neutralization brush which counters the back of the ink ribbon. A balance of the electrical charge of the surface and the electrical charge of the back of the ink ribbon is broken by electrical discharge caused by the conductive roller. And thereby, the charged voltage of the electrical charge of the back of the ink ribbon becomes large and the neutralization brush remove the electrical charge charged to the back of the ink ribbon effectively.
