    • A screen positioning system includes a display, a light emitter, an image capture device and a computer. The light emitter emits light to a position on the display in which an object icon is displayed to form a projection point thereon. The image capture device captures whole images of the screen; and the computer determines the position or properties of the projection point, and further determines an operating command of the object icon corresponding to the position or properties of the projection point, and then implements the determined operating command and directs the display to display a result of implementing the operating command.

    • The present invention provides a method of eliminating background noise and a device using the same. The method of eliminating background noise comprises the steps of: detecting an effective value of a received audio signal, and generating an average power signal of the received audio signal; generating a noise eliminating control signal by comparing the average power signal with a first threshold; and eliminating the noise, and amplifying the voice signal using the noise eliminating control signal.     • This invention discloses a type of image signal sampling circuits and methods. The circuit includes: a signal acquisition unit, a column read out unit, and a working module control circuit. The control circuit includes: a control unit, a source column switch group, a ground column switch group, and a between-column switch group. Each sampling column circuit is equipped with a source column switch and a ground column switch. The source column switch is connected between the inputs of the signal source and the signal acquisition unit. The ground column switch is connected between the ground and the bottom of the signal acquisition unit. The input of the column read out unit is connected to the input of the signal acquisition unit and the output is used to send out the sampled signal. A between-column switch is installed between the input of a front column signal acquisition unit and the bottom of a back signal acquisition unit. The control unit is used to control the switch in each switch group for connected or disconnected operation according to the sampling working module. Employing this invention can realize gain in the image sensor signal, improvement with circuit structure, achieving minimal chip area, and lowered cost.

    • A computer-implemented method in connection with a multi-touch detection system is disclosed. The multi-touch detection system includes a touch-sensitive device, a microcontroller coupled to the touch sensitive device, and an electronic application coupled to the microcontroller. The touch-sensitive device has multiple electrically isolated conductive regions. In response to detecting multiple simultaneous contacts a user has with the conductive regions, the touch-sensitive device generates multiple output signals, one signal for each of the multiple simultaneous contacts, and transmits the output signals to the microcontroller. The microcontroller is configured to generate one or more control signals in response to the output signals and transmit the control signals to the electronic application. The electronic application includes a screen displaying multiple human-machine interactive objects. In response to the control signals, the electronic application alters the appearance of the human-machine interactive objects on the screen.

    • A brightness enhancing film suitable for use in a display device is disclosed herein. The film comprises: a first polymeric layer having a microstructured surface, wherein the microstructured surface comprises an array of prism elements, and a second polymeric layer disposed adjacent to the first polymeric layer on the opposite side of the microstructured surface, wherein at least one of the first and second polymeric layers comprises a UV absorber that absorbs UV light and transmits visible light, such that the brightness enhancing film has an internal percent transmission of at least 95% at 410 nm, and at most 25% at 380 nm. Also disclosed herein is a brightness enhancing film wherein the UV absorber is in a third layer disposed between the first and second layers. The brightness enhancing films disclosed herein may be used in display devices such as LCD-TVs.
