摘要： The present invention is directed toward a bifurcation stent comprising a plurality of interconnected expansion columns, wherein the plurality of interconnected expansion columns are longitudinally spaced from the proximal end of the stent to the distal end of the stent and wherein the plurality of interconnected expansion columns define a plurality of cells. The inventive stent further comprises a framework defining a side branch cell. The framework is designed to minimize the circumferential space the side branch structure consumes. A plurality of expansion columns are connected to the framework. When the side branch is extended and expanded, the connected expansion columns form the wall of the side branch and the framework expands to conform to the shape of a targeted bodily vessel.

The tubular body has at least one perimeter which defines at least one opening in the wall of the tubular body. The expandable side branch section has a plurality of elongate members with a first end engaged to the perimeter. Each of the plurality of elongate members has a second end that extends to a pre-determined distance away from the tubular body when in an expanded state. The expandable side branch section is configured to expand outward to allow for the formation of a bifurcated stent with a side branch.

The tubular body comprises a plurality of adjacent deployable elements positioned between the proximal end region and distal end region. In the expanded configuration the deployable elements define a second lumen. The first lumen has a first longitudinal axis and the second lumen has a second longitudinal axis which is at an oblique angle relative to the first longitudinal axis. The first lumen is in fluid communication with the second lumen. The tubular body comprises a track region which further comprises at least two struts. The struts are substantially parallel to each other and the first longitudinal axis in the unexpanded configuration. The track region is comprised of at least one of the deployable elements.

摘要： A method and an apparatus for transmitting error-tolerant data is disclosed employing the ARQ technique, wherein the retransmission of erroneous data is performed up to the point where the remaining amount of errors is acceptable (for instance because the erorrs will not be perceived by the recipient of the information, which can be a person or a higher level protocol with additional error correction capabilities). The number of data blocks (RLC) detected as erroneous is employed to define a reliability measure (RM) and a request for retransmission of the erroneous data blocks is performed until a desired reliability threshold (RT) is reached. An additional threshold with a higher value than the first one can be employed to request for optional retransmission when the reliability measure (RM) is between the first and the second threshold. The retransmission will be performed only if further conditions such as channel availability are met.

The wall plate has a long its vertical axis, a surface of positive first differential and zero second differential, comprised of a combination of splines drawn between points of varying distance from a datum plane. The surface has zero second differential when the rate of height increase of individual splines is constant. The wall plate, when composed of non-conducting material, has a conductive coating on its front surface, on its back surface or on both its front and back surfaces. When the wiring device is a switch, the surface of the switch face follows that of the wall plate. When the wiring device is a receptacle, the surface along the receptacle face is flat in one plane to allow for the proper seating of an inserted plug.
