摘要： A system for using a predetermined sequence of transmission modes together with power sequencing in order to reduce signaling while improving SNIR levels. Each sequence comprises a vector of transmission modes, where each mode can include a signal constellation, a concatenated channel coding type and rate and, for multiple-input multiple-output systems, one type of matrix modulation. Base transceiver stations can estimate the interference condition for each piece of user equipment and, based on this information, will preferably decide an optimal sequence for each item of user equipment.

The cell includes a base station communicating using at least one frequency and the cell is operated according to a time-based frequency reuse technique. A communication between a terminal and the base station is based on a time frame structure including a plurality of time slots. The method includes the step of obtaining, at the base station of the cell, loading conditions of at least one cell among the subject cell and its neighboring cells. The method also includes the step of adapting, at the base station of the cell, at least one parameter of communication resource control of the base station on the basis of the loading conditions obtained. A base station, a terminal, a system, and a computer program product to implement the method.

A method comprises sending a configuration message for configuring measurement on at least one channel in a frequency band of a primary system; receiving a measurement report made based upon the configuration message; and determining the usability of the at least one channel based upon the measurement report, wherein the configuration message includes information regarding a respective predetermined threshold of energy detection or primary-system-feature detection, and the measurement report is for reception when a measured energy detection value or a measured primary-system-feature detection value of a received signal on the at least one channel is less than the respective predetermined threshold. With the claimed inventions, the spectrum efficiency would be improved and interference between a secondary system and an LTE system could be alleviated.

摘要： A macro eNB (MeNB) triggers a small cell (eLA eNB) to transmit a sequence on a second frequency band using a triggering command that indicates a time to transmit the sequence. On a first frequency band the MeNB triggers at least one user equipment UE to detect the sequence on the second band, and this trigger also has a first indication of when the sequence will be transmitted. From a second indication the MeNB receives on the first band from the at least one UE in response to the triggering of the UE the MeNB can determine whether the UE is located proximate to the small cell. The indication may be as little as a single bit indicating whether the UE detected or not the sequence. The first and second bands may be on first and second component carriers that may not be synchronized to one another, and the aperiodic nature of the triggered sequences and detection reports saves UE power.
