    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide rayon which retains a good anti-microbial property, even when repeatedly washed.
      SOLUTION: This anti-microbial rayon in which a metal chlorophyll derivative as an anti-microbial agent is caught with a primary amine and/or a secondary amine and is little dropped or eluted from the fibers is produced by (1) mixing viscose with the primary amine and/or the secondary amine and the metal chlorophyll derivative obtained from the ingredients of the leaves of Sasa albo-marginata, wet-spinning the mixed viscose by a conventional method, and further scouring the obtained fibers, or (2) mixing viscose with the primary amine and/or the secondary amine, wet-spinning the mixed viscose by a conventional method, and further imparting an oiling agent mixed with the metal chlorophyll derivative obtained from the ingredients of the leaves of Sasa albo-marginata to the fibers in a souring process.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a papermaking screen for making a watermark composed of a plastic woven fabric.
      SOLUTION: In the papermaking screen made of a plastic in which warps and wefts composed of synthetic resin filament yarns are woven in a plain weave, large-diameter warps are arranged at fixed intervals in a small-diameter warp group constituting a plastic woven fabric body. Knuckle parts by the large-diameter warps are formed at crossed points of the large-diameter warps and the wefts so that height differences are made between knuckle top parts of the small-diameter warps and the large-diameter warps. Practical continuous projected parts are formed on the surface of the papermaking screen by the high knuckle parts formed by the large-diameter warps to develop the watermark in papermaking. The plastic papermaking screen is obtained by preparing a different warping beam for the large-diameter warps and specially controlling warp feed.
