    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with an additional device with respect to a fixing tool driving device in a case when the oblique driving such as the driving to a floor material in flooring construction is needed.
      SOLUTION: This fixing tool connection body is obtained by improving a fixing tool connection body wherein a plurality of fixing tools having long shaft parts such as staples 2 and finishing nails are directly connected with each other in a state that the shaft parts are connected in the form of plate.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a precedent excavation rod capable of excavating an excavation hole into which round timber is inserted, without soil removal, so as to compact the ground, and a method of installing round timber into ground to take liquefaction-control measures by which the ground can be easily made dense and solid by using round timber.SOLUTION: The precedent excavation rod is configured to compact the ground around an excavation hole while forming the excavation hole on the ground before inserting round timber into the ground. The precedent excavation rod comprises: a mounting part connected to a drive head of a pile driver; a tapered rod part of which the diameter is reduced in an excavation direction; a tapered pencil part of which the diameter is further reduced in the excavation direction; and an auger part around which a screw is spirally wound. A method of installing round timber into ground to take liquefaction-control measures includes the steps of: opening an excavation hole on the ground without soil removal by mounting the precedent excavation rod to the pile driver; pulling the precedent excavation rod out of the excavation hole; and press-fitting round timber into the excavation hole.
