    • PURPOSE:To conduct the pressure test of a flexible hose under the cut state without attaching connecting metal fixtures and the like at the end parts, by inserting a nozzle in the inner hole of the flexible hose, and holding the hose by a chuck. CONSTITUTION:Both end parts of a rubber hose 66 are coupled into the base end part of each nozzle 58. Then compressed air is fed through a port 20. A pawl 44 is moved in the left direction, and the rubber hose 66 is temporarily tightened. When pressure water as a fluid is fed intp a chamber 26 through a port 30 and a flow path 26, the pawl 44 is forther moved leftward and the hose is tightened in a practical mode. The pressure water from a pressure tesing apparatus 68 on the right side is fed to the chamber 26 through a through hole 56 and a flow path 62 in a pressure testing apparatus 68 on the left side. Thus the practical tightening is performed. When the pawl 44 is stopped, the inside of the hose is filled with the pressure water. When the pressure is increased to a specified value, whether the water leaks from the hose or not is checked. Thus the pressure test is finished.
