摘要： A side release buckle includes a male member having two forward extended elastic retaining arms, each of which has a curved outer sidewall with a retaining shoulder portion formed near a proximal end thereof and a downward locating block; and a hollow female member having a front opening and two side openings, and two projected stoppers. The curved outer sidewalls of the retaining arms enable the male member to slide into the front opening of the female member from an angular position, and the engagement of the male member with the female member at the retaining shoulder portions and axially front ends of the side openings and at the locating blocks and the stoppers provides the buckle with enhanced force-bearing strength to prevent the male and the female member from easy breakaway.

摘要： A clip mounted with a mounting plate having opposite walls defining a mounting groove having an opened leading end, the clip is disclosed which has a clip body made of an elastic metal plate, having a V-shape portion with substantially V-shape cross section formed by folding back so as to have two opposite inclined plate portions, the inclined plate potions having opposite slits, respectively, the opposite walls of the mounting plate inserted into the slits, respectively, when the clip body is inserted into the mounting groove from the leading end of the clip body, so that the opposite walls of the mounting groove are inserted into the slits, the mounting plate is engaged with the slits, and a slit start portion adjacent to the leading end of the V-shape potion is elastically supported by the opposite walls of the mounting plate with an elastic force of the opposite inclined plate portions; and a base having a clip-body holding portion for holding the clip body, a harness securing portion which is made of resin and to which a wire harness is secured in a state being out of contact with the clip body, an inclination restraining portion provided in the V-shape portion of the clip body and arranged to be inserted into the mounting groove inserted into the slit to be brought into contact with the inner surface of the mounting groove so as to restrain inclination of the clip holding portion, and a mounting-plate guide for guiding the slits of the clip body pushed into the mounting groove. Therefore, the wire harness can be protected from being damaged and a strong state of mounting can be realized, and incomplete mounting can reliably be prevented with a simple mounting operation. Even if the clip is mounted on the mounting plate portion in a state the mounting plate portion is considerably deviated from the slits, the leading end of the mounting plate portion is guided to the slits by the mounting plate guide portion. As a result, the slit start portion can reliably elastically be supported by the mounting plate portion.

摘要： An automatic buckling device comprising a tongue attached to a seat belt and a buckle for latching the tongue. The tongue includes a cover case, a tongue plate which can project from the forward end of the cover case, a spring for urging the tongue plate in the direction in which the tongue plate is withdrawn into the cover case, and a recessed portion provided on the surface of the tongue plate at the forward end thereof so as to engage a ball. The buckle includes an insertion passage into which the tongue is inserted, a solenoid for drawing the tongue plate into the buckle, a ball which is engageable with the recessed portion of the tongue plate which is inserted into the insertion passage, a ball holder for holding only a part of the ball so that the ball can enter the insertion passage, a ball stopper which moves to a latch-holding position at which the ball stopper comes into close contact with the ball when a part of the ball enters the insertion passage so as to check the withdrawal of the ball from the insertion passage, and a stopper moving mechanism for moving the ball stopper to the latch-holding position when the tongue plate has completely entered the insertion passage and moving ball stopper from the latch-holding position by remote switching control in order to separate the tongue from the buckle.

摘要： A jewelry clasp having a female housing with a male member for insertion into the housing, and a locking mechanism for releasably locking the male member into the housing. A resilient clip in the form of a substantially pear shaped configuration is mounted onto the male member to thereby effect unidirectional passage of the male member through a jewelry mounting aperture. The male member, when the clip is compressed, can pass through the aperture thereby mounting a piece of jewelry on a chain connected to the male member. When the clip is released, it returns to its expanded position and provides a thickness greater than the aperture, thereby preventing the jewelry from sliding off the chain. The clip passes through openings in the male member to secure the clip to the male member.
