    • PURPOSE: To raise heating temperature easily and to smooth the surfaces of a magnetic recording medium under relatively low pressure, by applying a high- frequency wave to metallic rolls which serve as high frequency heating electrodes, and heating and pressing the magnetic recording medium.
      CONSTITUTION: The flexible magnetic recording medium 1 is heated and pressed by the metallic rolls 2. The metallic rolls 2 serve as the electrodes for high frequency induction heating and when high frequency wave is applied by a high frequency oscillation device 4, they heat and soften the binder of the medium 1 and also press the medium 1. The surfaces of the rolls 2 are worked into specular surfaces with high precision and the heating temperature is controlled by a temperature regulator 5. Since heat is generated in a magnetic layer, the need to heat the rolls is eliminated and the applied pressure is lowered, so the life of the rolls is prolonged; the heating is uniformed and controlled to optional temperature because of the heating is executed at the molecular level of the binder, or the heating is performed selectively.

    • A tyre (T) is vulcanised by heating the tyre (T) from both an outer forming surface (So) of an outer mould (2) and an inner forming surface (Si) of an inner mould (3). The inner forming surface (Si) is divided into a plurality of inner forming surface portions (Si1,Si1,Si2) in accordance with portions of the tyre (T), and the inner mould (3) is provided with heaters (5U,5L,5M) capable of heating the inner forming surface portions (Si1,Si1,Si2) at different temperatures. Since the tyre is vulcanised while varying the heating temperatures from inside of the tyre in accordance with the portions of the tyre, it is possible to vulcanise each of the portions of the tyre under optimal temperature condition without generating uneven temperature between upper and lower portions, and thus to enhance the performance of the tyre.
