[Solution] A vibration pickup microphone comprising a housing 1 provided with a first space 5 and a second space 6, an external diaphragm 2 disposed over the first space 5, and a microphone unit 3 that is contained in a rear end portion of the second space having an air gap 8 maintained 6, wherein by disposing the external diaphragm 2 over it, an air chamber 7 formed in the first space 5 and an air gap 8 formed in the second space 6 are communicated via a thin passageway 4, so that vibration of voice picked up by the external diaphragm 2 is transmitted to the microphone unit 3 as sound waves, and then frequency components higher than voice frequencies within frequency components of the sound waves are attenuated in its transmitting path.

摘要： An acoustic device for forming a wall of sound underwater. Walls of sound are useful in water for guiding fish away from areas. Hitherto, systems have used bubbles of water to facilitate the speed of travel of the sound. Those systems have suffered from the ability to maintain a consistent wall of bubbles and have often been inefficient. The present invention seeks to provide an acoustic device for forming a wall of sound underwater and comprises a transducer connected to an acoustic waveguide. The waveguide comprises one or more projections, whereby sound generated by the transducer travels along the projection or projections to form the wall of sound. The waveguide may typically comprise compressible projections formed from neoprene. These projections are arranged in a fan or frond shape. In addition or alternatively, the projections may be laminar. The projections could be of different lengths.

摘要： An acoustic collection system for handheld electronic devices is disclosed having a fitted casing with a chestpiece, and a passageway for conducting sound from the chestpiece to a microphone. In one embodiment, the configuration of the passageway can be actively varied by the user to selectively transmit frequencies of interest to the device. In another embodiment, materials with different sound propagation properties may be used to augment or dampen sound within the passage. In another embodiment, a microphone may be placed within the passageway and its position therein varied by the user.
