摘要： A board apparatus for balance exercises and balance games having a platform that tiltable on a base part, freely rotatable around a vertical axis, and mounted movably along the vertical axis. A restoring part generates restoring forces that counteract motions of the platform and can be modified by the user. The restoring part includes four elastomer springs that are arranged at a distance from the center of the base part. The elastomer springs can be offset inward or outward with respect to the center of the base part, enabling accurate adaptation of the restoring forces. When twisting the platform around the vertical axis, the restoring part always returns the support part into one of two initial positions that are located 180 degree opposite to one another.

摘要： A video and radio controlled remote device control system including at least one moving and talking remote device is presented. Standard video tapes used .in cameras or to home record TV programs have unused space on which data can be stored. This space may be called the vertical interval space. Appropriate digital control data is recorded in this unused vertical interval space. The encoded signal is played when the tape plays and is detected by a control box coupled between the VCR and the television. The control box generates an RF (radio) signal as a function of the encoded signal. A radio receiver in at least one, and possibly substantially more than one device receives the signal and as a function thereof generates selected voice and/or other sounds and mechanical control signals. Each device has a plurality of motors. Selected motors are controlled as a function of response to the transmitted signals. One practical example of a combination of the devices could be small characters singing, dancing or moving in concert with and controlled by a video tape of a child's movie.

A program may be combined with an instruction sheet so that the simulator is automatically set in a manner appropriate for the particular lesson. Desirably arrangements are made to plot the supposed course sailed by the pupil so that his performance is ready apparent.

摘要： The invention provides a simulator for teaching the art of sailing on dry land. A hull mounted for change of heading upon mechanical bearings or upon a tank of water has a helm, a boom and a mainsheet. Operation of the boom and mainsheet causes the hull to change its heading as in actual sailing upon water. The hull is preferably mounted to permit heeling. Heeling motion may be produced mechanically or by the action of an airstream upon a sail. Automatic devices may be provided for giving the hull heeling movements and/or for changing the sensitivity of the helm in a realistic manner making allowance for the strength and direction of the supposed wind, the position of the boom, etc.
