    • The invention relates to a method for measuring the gas pressure in gas suspension or gas storage spheres (1), in particular, when in the assembled state in a motor vehicle and a device for application of the method. According to the invention, the checking of gas suspension or gas storage spheres my be simplified, whereby, for determination of the gas pressure, at least one temperature measurement of the shell of the sphere is taken, the actual value determined is compared with a set value thereof and the resulting difference is displayed. By means of the temperature measurement taken of the shell of the sphere, with reference to the stored measured data for the various operating states of the gas suspension or gas storage spheres (1), deviations from the set values may be determined in a simple and reproducible manner. The particular advantage of the invention is that the measurement may occur in the constructed vehicle and only the hydraulic pressure in the vehicle need be altered.
