摘要： A carrier hinge assembly is used to suspend adjacent hinged panels from a track. The assembly has a carriage which travels along the track, and a hinge dependent from the carriage. The hinge is formed by a hinge pin having an upper portion threaded into a boss on the carriage, and hinge leaves which are pivotable about the hinge pin. The hinge leaves are fixed, in use, to opposing edge faces of the panels. The height of the panels may be adjusted by rotation of the hinge pin. A locking mechanism includes a retractable lock tongue located in an axial slot in a stop at the bottom of the hinge pin. The lock tongue is biased by spring to engage an axial slot in hinge leaf, to key the hinge pin to the hinge leaf and prevent relative rotation.

摘要： A sliding door suspension system and a sliding door assembly for supporting a heavy sliding door from a door frame includes a rail horizontally mounted to the door frame. The suspension system includes a roller assembly which rollingly engages the rail and supports the heavy door. The roller assembly includes an axle or shaft having a bearing surface. The axle has at least one threaded end for securing the roller assembly and for attaching the roller assembly to a door hanger from which the heavy door is suspended. The roller assembly further includes a roller with a concentric hollow bore for seating a bearing assembly or bushing through which the axle extends in supportive engagement with the bearing assembly. The rail has a convex arcuate upper roller guide surface. The roller has a concave arcuate roller guide engaging surface which conforms to and engages the upper surface of the rail. The roller assembly also includes a door height and alignment adjusting member which threadably engages the axle. In one embodiment, the door height adjusting member comprises an eccentric sleeve, whereas in an alternative embodiment, the door height adjusting member comprises an adjuster block.

摘要： The invention provides a suspension assembly and hinge member for a foldable door or window having a pair of adjacent panels connected to one another via a hinge. The suspension assembly comprises support engaging and translating means, for engaging with and translating relative to an upper support, and hinge rod attaching means for attaching to a hinge rod to suspend it via the upper support, wherein the suspension assembly is arranged to at least partially suspend the weight of the panels via the hinge rod and upper support. The hinge rod extends substantially the height of the adjacent panels. The hinge member comprises hinge tubes arranged to receive a hinge rod, so that the hinge tubes are spaced longitudinally along the hinge rod, and hinge tube connectors adapted to connect the longitudinally spaced hinge tubes. The invention also provides a corresponding foldable door or window comprising the suspension assembly and hinge member. The invention also provides a foldable door or window comprising panels having a peripheral frame and connected via a hinge. Moveable bolts are housed within the peripheral frame of one of the panels. Actuation means are connected to the bolts. Translation of the actuation means relative to the frame effects movement of the bolts which are adapted to engage a fixed interlocking member separate to the panels to secure at least one of the panels.
