摘要： There is provided a paper sheet handling apparatus capable of processing a deviated banknote in a banknote storage bin so as to displace the banknote to an optional position. The banknote handling apparatus incorporates a deviation processing means making contact with at least one side of a banknote in a paper sheet storage bin in which banknotes are stacked one upon another, for applying a force to the banknote at least in a direction of deviation of the banknote. The deviation processing means falls, during operation thereof, either in a condition in which it makes contact with a paper sheet in the paper sheet storage bin or in a condition in which it does not make contact therewith.

摘要： A conveying roller conveys a sheet. A sheet holding portion receives a sheet from below and holds the received sheet with keeping its forward end upward and its rear end downward. The sheet holding portion has: a storing guide provided in a vertical state and having a guide surface configured to guide the received sheet upward; a conveying guide provided to face the guide surface and having a curved surface portion whose distance from the guide surface increases in the upward direction; and a holding member provided between the guide surface and the curved surface portion and configured to roll on the curved surface portion toward the guide surface to nip the received sheet with the guide surface. An inclination angle of the curved surface portion with respect to the guide surface decreases with distance from the guide surface.

The bill processing apparatus comprises: an insertion slot (5), into which the bill is inserted; a bill housing part (100) capable of housing the bill inserted from the insertion slot (5); an opening (110A), through which the bill housing part (100) receives the bill; and a pressure plate (115) capable of passing through the opening (110A) to house the bill in the bill housing part (100). The bill processing apparatus further comprises a sensor to detect the bill inserted into the insertion slot (5), so that the pressure plate (115) is moved to regulate the passage of the bill from the opening (110A) till the insertion of the bill is detected by the sensor.

摘要： A sheet processing apparatus includes a staple tray that stacks a sheet discharged from an image forming apparatus, a rear end fence that vertically aligns the sheet stacked on the staple tray by hitting a tail end of the sheet in a conveying direction against the rear end fence, and a stapling device that executes a stapling operation at an end of a bundle of the sheets. A limiting member is movable in a direction of a thickness of the bundle of sheets stacked on the staple tray, in which a distance between the limiting member and a sheet stacking face of the staple tray guiding the sheet to the rear end fence is variable. The sheets are processed by a method including the steps of receiving a sheet discharged from the image forming apparatus, guiding the sheet to a rear end fence of a staple tray, stacking the sheet on the staple tray, aligning the sheet by hitting a tail end of the sheet against the rear end fence, pressing the tail end of the sheet in a direction of the thickness of the sheet, and stapling the bundle of sheets at the tail end of the sheet aligned by the rear end fence.
