摘要： PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for transhipment of cargoes at a curved part and a construction coat for other equipments, by curving, before installation, a pan conveyor provided with pans having an inner surface in the same cross section as that of a line where a carrier roller makes contact with a main belt. CONSTITUTION:At the part where a main conveyor is curved and at linear part extending after and before said curved part, and a pan conveyor provided with pans having an inner surface in the same cross section as that of a line where a carrier roller makes contact with the main belt is curved in a radius being 50-fold as wide as the width of a main belt before installation thereof. This causes the belt to be pulled by the linear parts of the pan conveyor, resulting in the same condition as a condition in which it is pulled by a head pulley, the belt being brought into rectilinear state to prevent deviation thereof. Further, since the pan conveyor and the main conveyor run at an equal speed, the main belt is brought to a condition in which it is placed in a static manner on the pan, and advances on the rectilinear parts without changing the shape of the cross section thereof. Elongation at the outer side of the curve of the main conveyor is 2%, and thereby an article to be conveyed can be transferred to the rectilinear part with a minimum of influence exercised thereon.
