    • A closure for a fluid containing vessel comprises a base and a one-piece lid. The base has a sidewall and a shoulder formed at a top surface of the sidewall. A spout extends upward from the shoulder and has an opening formed in a top surface of the spout. The one-piece lid has a ring portion and a cover portion. A hinge portion connects the cover portion to the ring portion and allows the cover portion to move from a closed position to an open position. The hinge portion is disposed completely within an outer periphery of the ring portion with the cover portion in the closed position. The cover portion covers the opening in the top surface of the spout in the closed position to form a fluid tight seal between the base and the one-piece lid.

    • A bottle closure (10) comprises a housing (11), a tubular actuator (15) and an atomiser (14). The housing (11) is adapted for connection to a neck of a 5 flexible bottle having a reservoir for containing liquid. The tubular actuator (15) is mounted on the housing (11) for slidable movement between an open position and a substantially closed position, and has a dispensing aperture (26) at one end (27) thereof. In use, the bottle closure (10) is mounted on a bottle having a reservoir for liquid. When the tubular actuator (15) is in its open position, the dispensing 10 aperture (26) is arranged to communicate directly with the reservoir, thereby permitting the flow of liquid through the aperture (26). However, when the actuator (15) is in its substantially closed position, the dispensing aperture (26) is arranged to communicate with the reservoir only via the atomiser (14), so that manual squeezing of the bottle causes liquid to pass through the atomiser (14) and 15 emerge from the dispensing aperture (26) as a mist.
