    • A heel surface element for a bowling shoe has a body defining an upper, attachment surface for attachment of the heel surface element upon a heel region of a bowling shoe and a lower, heel surface having a horseshoe-shape surface disposed for engagement upon a bowling alley approach surface during bowling motion and center region surface spaced from contact with the bowling alley approach surface. The center region surface is defined peripherally by the horseshoe-shape surface and extends from a heel front edge towards a heel rear edge. The horseshoe-shape surface tapers from a front thickness in a region adjacent the heel front edge to a second, relatively greater thickness in a region adjacent the heel rear edge. The heel front edge defines a notch extending toward the heel rear edge. The center region surface narrows, curving inwardly from the heel front edge toward the heel rear edge. Each of the heel surface and the horseshoe-shape surface has a rounded front or leading edge. Also described is a bowling shoe with a heel having a heel surface as described above, the heel surface being defined by a fixed heel or by a removable heel surface element.

    • A wedge-soled bowling shoe has selectable percentages of regions of different coefficients of friction of traction characteristics and different coefficients of friction of slide characteristics on a shoe sole surface. The shoe gives the bowler precise control over relative amounts of slide and/or traction action of each shoe. The bowler can readily change the relative amounts of slide and/or traction action of each shoe by changing a replaceable sole member of the desired percentages of regions of high or low traction and high or low slide to accommodate differing conditions and differing styles of bowling. Using one of a plurality of pairs of replaceable sole members, a first member of each pair is constructed of two materials, each of a different coefficient of friction to provide slide characteristics and a second member of each pair is constructed of two materials, each of a different coefficient of friction to provide traction characteristics. Changing the replaceable sole member changes the relative slide and/or traction on the bowling shoe sole and allows either shoe of a pair to be determined as the slide or traction shoe.

    • PURPOSE: A bowling shoe is provided to throw a desired ball while the wearer feels comfortable wearability and absorb impact applied to a foot. CONSTITUTION: A bowling shoe comprises a sole(10), an insole(30), an upper of leather(40), asole main body(11), and a front pad(12). The sole main body is made of a material having a cushion, EVA, or pylon sponge. The front pad is made of an anti-skid material and raw rubber material which is absorbed to the floor well in order to prevent slipping. The sole main body has a plurality of grooves in the lower front side in order to be easily bent. The front pad is attached to the front bottom of the sole main body, and is formed into one body and has a plurality of soft parts which are easily bent.

      본 고안에 의하면 밑창바닥(11)과 슬립판(12) 및 뒷굽(13)에 접착 고정되어 있는 고정판(14)과 분리판(16)이 사출 성형에 의해 대량으로 제조될 수 있으므로 저렴한 비용으로 제조할 수 있고, 종래와 같이 고정수단으로 벨크로파스너 등을 별도로 접착하는 번거로움 없이도 고정판(14)과 분리판(16)에 형성되어 있는 결합홈(14a)과 결합돌기(16a)의 결합력에 의해 견고한 고정상태를 유지할 수 있으며, 또한 고정판(14)과 분리판(16)에 각각 위치조절공(14b)과 이에 결합되는 결합돌기(16b)가 형성되므로 이들의 정확한 결합을 신속하게 행할 수 있으며, 완성도 높은 깔끔한 디자인의 제품을 제공할 수 있는 것이다.
