    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for iontophoresis and an electrode structure to stably keep a medical agent and percutaneously administer the medical agent at a high transport number.
SOLUTION: The composition for iontophoresis contains an ionic medical agent A and a non-ionic medicative additive B, and the electrode structure keeps this composition. The medicative additive B, for its non-ionicity, does not block electrophoretic movement of the ionic medical agent A but keeps the high transport number of the ionic medical agent A when electric power is distributed, and stabilizes physicochemical state of the ionic medical agent A when the electric power is not distributed. The non-ionic medicative additive B is at least one selected from a group comprising methylparaben, chlorobutanol, isobutyl parahydroxybenzoate, isopropyl parahydroxybenzoate, ethyl parahydroxybenzoate, butyl parahydroxybenzoate, propyl parahydroxybenzoate, methyl parahydroxybenzoate, and D-sorbitol.
