摘要： PURPOSE: To center a transducer on the track of a disk by generating a selective thermal expansion in a first and second arm part and bending and moving a slider along an arc like path within the plane perpendicular to a track. CONSTITUTION: The arm 10 is provided with an attaching end part 20 and free end part 18 attached to an actuator rotating the arm 10, and arm part 26 and 28 are extended between end part 18 and 20 to hold a gap from the attaching end part 20. 摘要： PURPOSE: To obtain a good ball chip design and a high recording density by controlling a resist shape by using a lithography stage. CONSTITUTION: The multipattern dielectric thin-film head 10 is produced by delineating the forms of peak and bottom magnetic film cores 12, 14 and copper coils 16, 18 by using lithography. Insulating layers 20 are patterned as well by using the lithography. A photoresist layer is formed on a substrate 21 in order to deposit a head on the substrate 21. The photoresist layer is subjected to radiation exposure via a mask and is baked. The photoresist layer is again subjected to the radiation exposure and is developed. Consequently, the good ball chip is obtd.

摘要： PURPOSE: To make it possible to well suppress a secondary pulse phenomenon by disposing a non-magnetization conversion material between a first layer and second surface consisting of a high magnetic moment material. CONSTITUTION: The surface 12A of an I-shaped core member 12 is covered by a thin barrier layer 22 and a layer 24 of a magnetic material of high compliance, such as SENDUST (R) alloy, is deposited on the barrier layer 22. Similarly, the barrier layer 26 on the opposite side surface 14A of a C-shaped ferrite member 14 separates the SENDUST (R) layer 28 from the surface l4A. A gap oxide 30 is formed between the 'SENDUST (R)' layers 24 and 28 to delineate the primary gap of the magnetic head 10. The barrier layers 22, 26 are formed of W, Ta which are high melting refractory metals to prevent the formation of reaction layers at the boundaries between the ferrite layer 12 and the SENDUST (R) layer 24 and between the ferrite member 14 and the SENDUST (R) layer 28 with an extremely thin film thickness.
