An absolutely positioned "membrane" style is defined that covers an entire Web page at a higher z-index than other sheets (layers) in the Web page. A division of the Web page is associated with the "membrane" style. The style is initially hidden, meaning that the sheets with lower z-index numbers can be accessed. When the user submits the form (through a Submit button or similar element), a JavaScript makes the "membrane" style visible, which renders the Web page form elements (with lower z-index numbers) inaccessible. Consequently, the user in unable to click the Submit button or any other element on the page. Assuming that the "membrane" Web page division (layer) contains no text, the layer will be transparent.

摘要： A system and method for re-terminating a call on demand. This allows a subscriber (110) to cause a previously answered incoming call to be re-terminated to the subscriber's (110) telephone line. A method for using the present invention involves the following sequence. First, a caller (130) dials a telephone number (114) of a subscriber (110) and the call is answered by an answering member. Second, the answering member presses one or more keys on the keypad of a customer premises equipment (126) before hanging up. Third, the call is re-terminated to the same telephone number. When the call re-terminates, there are a number of different options for the subscriber (110) to pick up the re-terminated call.
