    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent situations in which the display of the measured consumption of a gas is hardly recognizable at the time of adapting one type of gas meter to the arrangement of a gas piping at the site of installation. SOLUTION: A display part 7 at which the consumption of a gas measured by a measuring part 5 is displayed is constituted to comprise a square mounting plate 7a which can be fitted into a square opening 3d formed in the front surface 3a of a housing 3 and a horizontally long rectangular display window part 7b formed at a part close to one side of the mounting plate 7a. Then the housing 3 is rotated in a plane extended along the front surface 3a so that a gas flow inlet 3b and a gas flow outlet 3c may be located at one of the upper, lower, and both side surfaces of the housing 3 according to the arrangement of a gas piping at the site of the installation of a gas meter 1, and the mounting plate 7a is mounted with screws 11 to the opening 3d on the front surface 3a of the housing 3 in above-mentioned rotated state so that the display window part 7b may be located in a horizontally-long state close to the upper side of the mounting plate 7a.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent position displacement of a packing in a width direction with respect to a pressuring rib, and prevent deterioration in adhesiveness to the pressuring rib when the packing is compressed or expanded associated with the temperature change or the like.
SOLUTION: A tubular wall 4 is provided on an inner surface of a case body 1 in communication with the outside. A circular and annular seat surface 17 is formed a step lower inside of the tip end of the tubular wall. A single rib 19 is projected in a circular and annular shape on the seat surface. A packing 15 with a circular and annular, and cross section flat shape is arranged in a flange part 26 having an annular peripheral wall 26b of the speaker 12. The rib is bitten by the packing when loading the speaker. The flange part is pressured toward the rib together with the packing with a pressuring board 23 fixed on a fixing part 20 on the outside of the tubular wall in the waterproof structure of the speaker for an alarm.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent false alarm due to water vapor in a fire alarm.
SOLUTION: A measuring means comprises a microcomputer 11, a sample-and-hold circuit 13 and an A/D conversion circuit 14, and a measurement value is acquired by a smoke sensor 12. By control of the microcomputer 11, in a monitor mode, the value is measured as a sampling cycle for smoke detection every four seconds interval. When the measured value exceeds a threshold, a smoke judgment count is increased by 1. In the sampling cycle to be at 250 m seconds intervals which are shorter than one for smoke detection, measurement is performed 16 times, for example. When there are cases in which the measured value becomes equal to the threshold or smaller or a difference between a maximum measured value and a minimum measured value becomes the threshold or larger, the smoke judgment count is decreased by 1. When neither of the cases exists, the smoke judgment count is increased by 1. Measurement at 25 0m seconds intervals and the judgment are repeated. When the smoke judgment count becomes 3, an alarm mode is set in. When the smoke judgment count becomes 0, the alarm mode is not set in but the monitor mode in which measurement is performed at every 4 seconds interval is resumed.

SOLUTION: The flow rate measuring device has a plurality of flow passages 204, 205, 211 in which fluid flows, the changeover valve 203 for opening and closing one flow passage of the plurality of the flow passages, a drive means M for driving the changeover valve 203, and a flow rate measuring means Q for measuring the whole flow rate of the fluid flowed in the plurality of the flow passages 204, 205, 211. The flow rate of a low flow rate area when the changeover valve 203 is in a closed state and the flow rate of a high flow rate area when it is in an opened state are measured. In addition, a judging means 3a-1 judging whether the whole flow rate measured with the flow rate measuring means Q is a changeover reference value or less set successively previously for a constant time is provided. A drive means M drives to change the changeover valve 203 from the opened state to the closed state in the case that the whole flow rate is successively judged the changeover reference value or less for the constant time.
