    • An apparatus and a method for manufacturing a container from a thermoplastic resin foam sheet comprising:(A) A free, perpendicularly movable heating device composed of at least three pressing blades arranged so as to form a polygonal shape by connecting their ends to one another respectively, each of said pressing blades having a V-shaped cross section at its edge, the cross-sectional angle of said edge being smaller by 10-25.degree. than the angle of bend of a flat thermoplastic resin foam sheet, a plurality of cutting blades, each of which has the edge level higher by 0.5-1.5 mm than the edge level of the linear pressing blade, being disposed at a position deviated by 1-2 mm diagonally outward from the corner of the polygon defined by the arrangement of the pressing blades, with the opening angle of said cutting blades not exceeding 90.degree..(B) A hollow mold which has a surface to accommodate the unfolded thermoplastic resin foam sheet formed by means of the linear pressing blade and the cutting blade provided on the heating device and which has a surface to join the bending lines and the joining sides of the unfolded sheet in fabrication, and(C) A cutout piece ejecting device having a scraper which moves forward and backward in differentiated routes for ejecting the cutout pieces which have been cut out by said cutting blades on the surface of the above hollow mold, characterized by lowering the heating device to form the thermoplastic resin foam sheet, guided to the surface of the hollow mold into an unfolded sheet, ejecting the resulting cutout pieces by means of the cutout piece ejecting device, pressing the unfolded sheet in the hollow mold so as to weld the bend lines and the joining portions thereof to obtain a container.

    • A toner with good low-temperature fixability even in light-pressure type fixing units, which causes no contamination of fixing films and provides images having stable image densities and excellent image quality after long-term use. The toner includes a toner particle containing a binder resin, a coloring agent, a release agents (a) and (b) The release agent (a) is a monofunctional or bifunctional ester wax; the release agent (b) is a hydrocarbon wax; a solubility of the release agent (a) into the binder resin is higher than that of the release agent (b). When tetrahydrofuran-soluble components of the toner are subjected to GPC, a proportion of components having a molecular weight of 500 or less is 2.5 area % or less. When the tetrahydrofuran-soluble components at 25° C. are subjected to SEC-MALLS, a weight-average molecular weight Mw thereof is 5,000-100,000, and the Mw and the radius of gyration Rw thereof satisfy 5.0×10−4≦Rw/Mw≦1.0×10−2.

    • A moving section of a parallel mechanism is fed having two freedoms. A first moving section base is screw-engaged with a first feed screw shaft, and a second moving section base is screw-engaged with a second feed screw shaft. A spindle head is pivotably connected by a support shaft to the first moving section base. A coupling shaft at an extreme end of an extension lever extending downward from the spindle head is rotatably coupled to a guided piece on a slant linear guide provided on the second moving section base and is coupled to the second moving section base. Thereby, a tilt function maintaining advantages of a tandem drive and being high in rigidity is realized without increasing control axes beyond the number of axes corresponding to tandem axes.
