摘要： A metallic ion sorber capable of absorbing ions of a metal excluding iron and cobalt and a method of sorbing ions of a metal excluding iron and cobalt are disclosed. The sorber comprises an ethylene copolymer containing from 40 to 95% by weight of ethylene and from 5 to 60% by weight of at least one of aminoalkyl acrylate compounds represented by formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group; R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 each represents an alkyl group having from 1 to 4 carbon atoms; and n represents an integer of from 1 to 4, and having a number average molecular weight of from 5,000 to 50,000.

摘要： An antimicrobial substance containing an ethylene copolymer as an active ingredient and an antimicrobial resin composition containing the ethylene copolymer are disclosed. The ethylene copolymer comprises from 40 to 95% by weight of ethylene, from 5 to 60% by weight of at least one dialkylaminoalkylacrylamide comonomer represented by formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group: R.sub.2 and R.sub.3, which may be the same or different, each represents an alkyl group having from 1 to 4 carbon atoms; and n represents an integer of from 2 to 5, and up to 20% by weight of one or more of other ethylenically unsaturated comonomers, and has a number average molecular weight of from 5,000 to 50,000.

摘要： A process for dyeing polyolefin fiber materials, which comprises contacting a polyolefin fiber material obtained by melt-spinning a mixture of crystalline polyolefin and 0.1 to 30% by weight based on the weight of the polyolefin of a copolymer of ethylene and an aminoalkyl acrylate compound represented by the formula, ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 represents hydrogen atom or methyl group, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 each represents hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, and n represents an integer from 1 to 4, or a blend product of the said polyolefin fiber material and a polyamide fiber material, with a dye bath containing an anionic dye and at least one carboxylic acid selected from the group consisting of benzoic acid, salicylic acid, p-chlorobenzoic acid and 5-chlorosalicylic acid.

The conjugated fiber is excellent in thermal adhesion, absorptivity by an acid aqueous solution, and dyeability and can easily be fabricated into a nonwoven fabric or nonwoven molding suited for various applications including separators of lead accumulators.

摘要： An adhesive resin composition is described, comprising: (A) a thermoplastic copolyester resin prepared from (1) a dicarboxylic acid component comprising from 40 to 100 mol % of terephthalic acid and from 0 to 60 mol % of other aromatic dicarboxylic acid and (2) a low molecular weight glycol component comprising from 40 to 100 mol % of 1,4-butanediol and from 0 to 60 mol % of diethylene glycol or 1,6-hexanediol and further from 0 to 10 mol %, based on the total carboxylic acid, of polytetramethylene glycol having a molecular weight of from 600 to 6,000, which has a melting point of from 90.degree. to 160.degree. C. and a reduced viscosity of at least 0.5; and (B) an ethylene copolymer having at least one functional group selected from an epoxy group, a carboxylic acid group, and a dicarboxylic anhydride gruop; and if desired, (C) a thermoplastic resin other than the resin (A), and if further desired, (D) a polyfunctional epoxy compound. This composition exhibits excellent adhesion to synthetic resins such as polyvinyl chloride, polyesters, and polyolefins and also to metals such as aluminum and has excellent adhesive durability against moisture.
