摘要： The teachings herein provide a number of advantages, including but not limited to improving soft-cell operation in service scenarios involving legacy devices that do not directly support carrier aggregation—i.e., devices that can transmit or receive in only one frequency band at a time. By imposing a Time Division Duplex (TDD) arrangement across two carriers operating in different frequency bands, scheduled transmissions involving the legacy device are mutually exclusive as between the two carriers. Advantageously, the TDD arrangement is imposed across first and second carriers used in the macro- and low-power layers of a soft-cell, thus imposing TDD-based coordination of scheduled transmissions between those carriers irrespective of whether the individual carriers are configured as Frequency Division Duplex (FDD) or TDD carriers, or a mix thereof.

摘要： Systems and methods relating to configuring a Secondary Component Carrier (SCC) for a wireless device (14) in a cellular communications network (10) are disclosed. In some embodiments, the method comprises obtaining capabilities of the wireless device (14), where the capabilities indicate a frequency band combination supported by the wireless device (14). The frequency band combination supported by the wireless device (14) includes a first frequency band supported by a base station (12) and the wireless device (14) that is used for a Primary Cell (PCell) of the wireless device (14) and a second frequency band supported by the wireless device (14) but not supported by the base station (12). The method further comprises identifying an overlap between the second frequency band supported by the wireless device (14) but not supported by the base station (12) and a third frequency band supported by the base station (12) but not supported by the wireless device (14) and configuring the SCC for the wireless device (14) in the overlap.

摘要： The present invention relates to a procedure to, from a cost efficiency point of view and with regard to spectrum efficiency, optimize a cellular mobile telephone network, in which the base station (BS) of/for each cell is allocated a number of carrier frequencies (f 1 , …, f n ), where n is an integer, from the frequency band for the mobile telephone network to transmit the information to mobile stations within the cell. In the cellular mobile telephone network, carrier frequencies (f 1 , …, f n ) of a cell recur in another cell according to a predefined frequency reusing factor. The procedure includes the steps: to allocate to the pilot channel (f x - pilot channel) of a carrier frequency (f x ), where x is an integer and 1≤x≤n, a very high share of the for the carrier frequency (f x ) available power; and to allocate to the pilot channels of different carrier frequencies (f 1 , …, f n ) different power.
