摘要： The invention relates to a method for service aware scheduling of wireless resources in a wireless network. According to the inventive method, a service request for service delivery of a service type is received (51). A performance to value relationship for the service type is determined (52) and approximated (53) with a scheduling weight function associated with the service type. Previous performance for service delivery related to this service request is evaluated and approximated with a performance estimate (54). A scheduling weight is determined (55) by introducing the performance estimate in the scheduling weight function. Resource scheduling is performed (58) following a step of comparing (56) scheduling weights for on-going service requests. The invention also includes a network node and a system for service aware scheduling of wireless resources in a wireless network.

摘要： The invention relates to a method for estimating performance in a mobile network, a method of generating a performance map, use of such methods, a network management system and a network node in a mobile network for carrying out the methods. The inventive method including receiving localized user equipment measurements from user equipment in a mobile network, including the user equipment measurements in sets and determining at least one antenna characteristics model for the set of user equipment measurements. A path loss model is determined for the user equipment measurements. A localized performance measurement is determined by deducting an estimated antenna impact from the estimated path loss for the user equipment measurement. The steps are repeated to generate a spatial performance map for the mobile network, wherein updates of the performance map are based on further user equipment measurements form user equipment in the mobile network.

摘要： A method in a communication system for managing energy consumption of base stations within the communication system includes computing a marginal energy value for a first base station based on an energy source type of the first base station and computing a marginal energy value for a second base station based on an energy source type of the second base station. The method also includes comparing the marginal energy value for the first base station and the marginal energy value for the second base station. Additionally, the method includes adjusting an amount of wireless communication managed by the first base station in relation to the second base station, such that the amount of wireless communication managed by the first base station is increased if the first base station has a lower marginal energy value than the second base station, or the amount of wireless communication managed by the first base station is decreased if the first base station has a higher marginal energy value than the second base station.

摘要： In one of its aspects the technology concerns a method of operating a telecommunications system (10) comprising a serving radio base station (50S) and a candidate radio base station (50C). The serving radio base station (50S) comprises a radio base station to which a wireless mobile station (30) provides measurement reports. The serving radio base station (50S) and the candidate radio base station (50C) are different with respect to at least one of frequency and radio access technology. The method comprises the serving radio base station (50S) allowing the mobile station (30) to obtain information broadcasted by the candidate radio base station (50C). The information is either information for locating Cell Global Identity (CGI) of the candidate radio base station (50C) or the Cell Global Identity (CGI) itself of the radio base station. The mobile station (30) obtains the information from the candidate radio base station (50C) during at least one reading gap. 摘要： A method in, and a network node (110, 140), for supporting compensation of cell outage in a cellular communications network (100). The cellular communications network (100) comprises a compensating cell (135) for compensating the cell outage and a supporting cell (115) neighbouring the compensating cell (135). The network node (110, 140) obtains (502, 1202) a sub-band of a system bandwidth for uplink scheduling of resources for the compensating cell (135). The network node (110, 140) schedules (503, 1203), in response to the cell outage, resources for the supporting cell (115) with restricted uplink scheduling within the sub-band. The network node applies (504, 1204) the scheduled resources in the supporting cell (115), thereby supporting the compensation of cell outage. As a result, higher Signal to Interference and Noise Ratio (SINR) is enabled in the uplink in the compensating cell. This may e.g. be utilized to let the compensating cell cover a larger area of an outage cell than else would be possible, and/or to serve user equipments located therein with improved performance.
