摘要： System and methods for generating a trajectory of a dynamical system are described herein. An example method can include generating a desired effect on the dynamical system in response to a plurality of system states and effects, where the desired effect is associated with a confidence value. The method can also include predicting a respective corresponding effect on the dynamical system in response to each of a plurality of possible system actions, where each respective corresponding effect is associated with a confidence value. The method can further include comparing each respective corresponding effect on the dynamical system to the desired effect on the dynamical system, and selecting a next system action in the trajectory of the dynamical system based on the comparison.

摘要： The present invention relates to a compact motorized rotational stage for microscopy applications and control methods for automated sample orientation/rotation. The rotational stage includes a motor, a rotational motion transmission mechanism, and a rotating sample holder for accommodating a holding device such as glass slides/Petri dishes of different sizes. Mouse embryos are used as an example to explain the control methods. A pattern recognition utility was developed for identifying mouse embryo structures. The transformation between the holding device rotational coordinate frame and the translational positioning stage coordinate frame is calibrated during image-based visual servo control. The polar body of an embryo is oriented through purely image-based visual servo control or through coordinate transformation and closed-loop position control.

The nQAM signals may be generated by a lower-level modulator, such as a BPSK modulator, QPSK modulator or lower-level QAM modulator, with binary driving signals. Different parameters of the DLIs, such as free spectral range (FSR), phase shift, and amplitude imbalance, may be selected to accomplish the desired higher-level nmQAM depending upon the nQAM signal.

A multi-card multi-standby mobile phone is provided too. The mobile phone comprises a RAM for storing the network searching information, a timer unit for measuring the processing time of mobile phone traffic, a comparing unit set with the time threshold value for comparing the processing time of the mobile phone traffic with the time threshold value, and a MCU for continuing to perform the network searching according to the stored network searching information of the first user card when the processing time of the mobile phone traffic is less than or equal to the time threshold value. The present invention promotes the efficiency of the network searching.

摘要： The present invention relates to a design and microfabrication method for microgrippers that are capable of grasping micro and nano objects of a large range of sizes and two-axis force sensing capabilities. Gripping motion is produced by one or more electrothermal actuators. Integrated force sensors along x and y directions enable the measurement of gripping forces as well as the forces applied at the end of microgripper arms along the normal direction, both with a resolution down to nanoNewton. The microfabrication method enables monolithic integration of the actuators and the force sensors.
